Exciting News!

Veeshan's Peak release is imminent...like for real...I promise! More information within the week.

In order to be ready for Veeshan's Peak release, here are the new files needed, as well as an updated spell file to correct display issues with certain spells (these files are best pasted when all EQ clients are closed, as they require a client reload to take effect anyway, and may be overwritten on log out) :

Updates:

[Draca][T10.5 Plat Bags] Previous change to Sleeper drop - Epic Bag of Platinum Pieces did not work correctly, this should now be correct. Stack size has been reduced to 5.
[Draca] [Mask of Experience Rank 1000] may now be used from inventory.
[Draca] [Ultimate Longbow XII] previously was set to proc Ultimate Longbow IX effect, it now correctly procs it's own.
[Draca] [Cuirass of the Neoshamanist] previously had no appearance, it has been set to mirror UA.
[Draca] [V1 Charm Upgrades] have had their icons changed to differentiate them from the V2 charm upgrades.
[Draca] [Ultimate Armor] leather and cloth wrist clickable effect had an unassigned clicktype, and attempting to use could require zoning, or hang a client. This has been fixed.
[Draca] [Ultimate Dagger] had a backstab damage bonus that was set beyond it's limit, resulting in massively reduced damage. This has been corrected.
[Draca] [Spells] Incinerating Aura V previously had no effect value assigned, this has been corrected.
[Draca] [Spells] Cleave IX previously did not have 1HB, 1HS or 2HB assigned values for increased change of critical melee. This has been corrected.
[Draca] [Spells] Several defensive buffs have been reclassified, and will now show up in the normal buff pane, and will persist through zoning.
[Draca] [Quality of Life] Scorpion Spears now stack to 1000.
[Draca] [Quality of Life] T10 Souls are now stackable.
[Draca] [Bug Fixes] Previous adjustment to corpse decay time did not work correctly, it has been fixed. Again. Working on this again, again.
[Draca] [Bug Fixes] Previous adjustment to the number of item upgrade announcements did not work correcty, it has been fixed. Again.
[Draca] [Ogru][Bug Fixes] With Ogru's help, the Universal Teleporter should no longer cause client crashes when clicking certain zone group links in chat.
[Draca] [Previous Change] Expensive Blue Diamonds stack size was reduced to 5, due a possible platinum duping exploit.
[Draca] Sharpclaw Grimefoot can now spawn from the death of the Bandit leaders. (Ro'kki and Little J'Haughn specifically)

Rogue is something wrong ... cant be right that u need UW in offhand + mainhand dagger to do BSed for more then 10m when usin UW + Cratos only doin Crit BS for 2,4m and when usin Mainhand SLeeper Dagger+ offhand UW for 17,5m maybe something workin wrong maybe watch again on it !

Amilie, I'll look into that, might have to talk in game to see what's going on there.

Cleave is fixed, but spell file is not. Download new spell file HERE (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZDq9zzSAI-bWy1Ti_64Mwyhqf2nyaByY/view?usp=sharing) (download and paste into your base Everquest folder typically named  "\everquest_rof2")

Corpse timer is set right, yet still isn't working, will dig deeper into that.

Corrected issue with lower Ancient Stonewall buffs not showing in buff box

UW and SoA clicky buffs timer runs down whilst in the nexus, not sure if this is intended or not.

Also regarding the ranger testing we were doing, if I take his ucv4 off the crit works as intended the same way it does if I take his UA bp off.

Still backstab for more damage with sleepers point dagger than I do the UW12 Dagger on rogue also.

♦ Please re-download and install the spell file at the beginning of this post, had to make an adjustment to these spells, and requires new spell file on client end to correct.

♦ Will work on the damage issues with Rogues and Rangers.

♦ Corpse decay is still an issue, will update with fix when I actually fix it....

Continue to post here with specific issues with these fixes, otherwise please use the Broken Stuff thread for other issues.

After a great deal of work by Akkadius, I now have the ability to execute fixes to the production (live) server myself, while maintaining a backup state in case I make a tit of it. This means that I will need people to log into Test server occasionally to check fixes, as I won't move anything over from test to prod without being reasonably sure it's a correct fix. It also means there will be more server resets than there has been recently, although those will generally be limited to large scale data transfers where I need to kick everyone off to verify correct operation. Exciting stuff is coming, and now I have no excuses.  :o

Thanks for the work and effort. Also, don't take anything personally peeps will be knuckle heads sometimes. Got a great group of EZ players that want to see it prosper.

Did more ranger testing...

Take ua bp/legs off and use ucv3 I do 20m crits, put legs or bp on and it drops to a negative, put ucv4 on without ua bp/legs and it again returns me a negative 18m crit even without my EoBA50 and the HW earring...

Guess we are hitting a ceiling somewhere like the uw12 dagger?

Not sure how I feel about the UW and SoA buff not being in the song window :p... did it make a difference being in there? ... it's like when chrome removed the backspace button to go backwards, feels strange :p

Can we get a different icon for the ancient stonewall, it's the same as all the vampiric thunders/timeless haste icons etc....just a thought :D

Also, why only 1k mask clickable from inventory? Can we not have it clickable at any level or is that too involved?

Well that makes perfect sense :p

Unrelated but there are two necro pet buffs that don't persist through zoning that say they are permanent, they are defensive boon/glyph of darkness, have to recast them when you zone...(I know this isn't the correct place)

I also mentioned this a while back. I have three buffs all sharing the same icon now. Stonewall buffs are the most important buffs to keep track on, on EZ. It's obviously easier to keep track of the Stonewall buffs when they are more or less alone in the song window, but having them persist through zoning is a good benefit for sure. Spell Icon #196-216 all have a good color and easy to differentiate from the ones we currently use on EZ. I wouldn't mind having both Warrior's defense and Ancient Stonewall icons changed personally.
