I undertsnad that the current T10 is VERY heavy on server resources....don't know what all could be done to cut down on that.  Heard mention of reducing mob movement or overall # of mobs in the zone. Keep the difficulty where it is though!

Would splitting T10 up help any? Maybe 3 separate zones?

As far as T11.....lets see some newer zones, not older ones. Using the RoF2 client we should be able to access some newer zones, and we arent. The newest zone we actively use is....9 years old? (OC/T9) We could do with some newer fun IMO. Or, if you have to go old school, go OLD SCHOOL and use Kithicor (FUN flashbacks to Halloween 1999) or Howling Stones.

Honestly? I'd look for ways to slow things down, not speed them up, from T2 and on. Adding an express lane only leads to faster ennui and boredom. The exception? T10 needs some tweaking, as has been mentioned in detail by other players and myself.

That being said....I'd consider adding alternatives to current content for some "grinds". Perhaps something scaled similarly to the halloween zone.

I got one....T10. Completely unimpressive dps last parse. I think if I unbenched any of my team when I return this week it'd be the SK.

If so then its something from the last source coding pass. For a short time hybrid NS classes got an AA that made them crit harder, but it was fixed/changed/whatever about a month later. If its back then it probably isnt intentional. Last parse I did (May) rogue/monk both were crit kings for procs because of ingenuity.

Scaled down in SIZE, not difficulty. Sorry if I was unclear. And no one had to "mooch". Plenty of people walked in with no help and did fine....and more than a few did it before it was hit with the 4 nerfs I can remember.

The zone was created for just a select few.

And sorry, gotta call bullshit on this one. The zone was created for anyone who got past T9. The issues the zone has are just that: ISSUES, that require attention and tweaking. Hate, for all his flaws and foibles, set it up to be a challenge to EVERYONE, no matter how many UW you had, or how many boxes with rank 1K RoA and 50 EoA. The problems lay in the fact that it needs to be tuned, it needs to be scaled down (the sheer size creates a host of problems with coding and keeping things stable on the emu) and that it needs ATTENTION....and as good as Akk is he's ONE GUY being tasked to do a 5 man job, and in his spare time....AND he's being asked to step in and fix the soup another cook started.

I started on EZ because the content was challenging and fun. This was back in the "old days", when you had a warrior to tank, a warrior to DPS, and a cleric to keep em standing....and every other class was pretty much filler. I dont play much these days because RL is a bitch, for one....but even when things are calm and I have spare time, I dont log in, because its BORING. Same old shit, only difference is how hard the mobs hit. The ONLY place I've seen anything that even comes close to escaping the pattern EZ has become is T10.

But the whiny "D00d, its liek 2 hrd!" crowd makes up the bulk of the server anymore. We have the majority of the playerbase playing now who started here because they thought EZ meant "easy", and they do all they can to encourage it to become thus. The older players who, arguably, made the server happen dont log in anymore.....because its easy-mode, repetitive sacks of bleh....which is rather sad. Oh, I will pop in still to hang with friends and giggle at the antics of some, but for me its become akin to live: the glory days are gone, the park I used to play in is now a Chik-Fil-A....and at my old school everyone gets a trophy for showing up and successfully breathing.

Ahhh, "progress".

Ink drops start in T5 unless something has changed....and yes, since some tweaks Hunter did a few years ago drop rate is pretty bad in T5 (they were dropping like candy).

Were it me I'd wait a few months and see what happens with the new Zen processors before you decide. From every insider I've spoken to they are supposed to be a pretty sizable step up from the older Piledrivers, and in the realm of the Skylakes for performance but at an AMD-esque price point.

Seems as if its any of the 900 series cards. I got a notice for both my 980 and 960 cards as well as my 970.

Agreed. The number of essences you can get from the mini isnt exactly stellar (avg for me has been 4 to 5 for a full clear) and the 15 shards every 48 hours isnt game breaking.

Akk, lately many players claiming they cant get Essences to drop on first and second floor of Frozen Shadow. Is this just mass bad rng, or an intentional change? Or something to check? Thanks!

As I recall CoM also was level limited.....had to be 55 to zone in, I believe? Dont recall the exact number. Been this way for a long time.
