Audyin NPC in Nexus is now updated.

Quest for 15 tokens is now in the Task Window. You can hand in boss tokens from Qvic in any order now! Then ALT-Q to bring up your Task Window to see the steps completed.

The armor from Qvic molds + gems are now combined in A Magic Box instead of handing them to Audyin. So now you don't have to leave the zone to get your new armor!

The "Task Completed" is a second type of "flag" required for stuff like doing Epic 3.0 Raid Zone, Tacvi, and Plane of Dragons. I've updated NPC's to use both the old flag, and the new Task Flag to allow you into these zones and such. NPC's that needed to be updated were:

Audyin - Nexus
Custom_Zones - Nexus, Surefall, FG, CG
Epic_Vendor - Nexus, Surefall, FG, CG

If for any reason you can't zone to a place requiring the flag, the please let me know how or what you were doing. I need zone and NPC names so I can check the code. I've already tested everything that I could think of, but there is always a chance I missed something.

Don't forget to hail Audyin and ask about the Task, even if you have completed the quest before! There is a Bag of Platinum Pieces reward for people that have completed the quest, even if it was completed the old way before this update.

I did the Qvic Token turn in through the new task system, all went fine, when I hail Audyin he congratulates me, but when I zone into Chambersa it kicks me to the Nexus.

I went to update some of toons with this new Task System and ran into something...

Not sure it was ment to be changed as well, but the Audyin inside the Fighter's Guild still has the old options.... doesn't over Task as an option...

I didn't check the one in Caster's Guild


Thanks for the change Hunter, having to hand in the tokens in order was always a bit of a pain.

Audyin only requires 15 tokens, not 18 tokens.

Why do people hand in everything, without checking if the 1st item worked?

This is now fixed. The NPC Audyin in FG and CG zones had a different NPC ID than the one in Nexus which is why the Task Window wasn't recognizing it as it knows what NPC you gave items too by NPC ID. Anyways, this is now fixed and safe to do.

Absolutely... I just handed in all 15, then handed in 3 more after I handed in 2 additional to Audyin in Nexus. Was trying to rush through things and figured it would work since it worked in Nexus.

Why do people do it? I ooc'ed and everyone was saying that after I handed them all in, it would then recognize and I would be flagged.

Pro Tip!
Be certain to hail the NPC and get the quest first.
Open the Quest Journal (EQ Button > Quests > Quest Journal)
Hand in first Item / Token etc.
Verify update, and complete turn ins. =)
