Just wanted to say I tried out the clean spellfile today and it made a huge difference for me in battle lag.  Thank you SO MUCH for making it!

Hate, with your cleaned spell file I'm seeing particle effects on the spells now where as with the normal ez server one I don't, is there anything in your cleaned spell file that would turn those back on?

I was using the one posted all day and have had no issue. Did you just download or did you get one from a few days ago?

This spell file does not remove the particle effects. The last time I tried that, it FORCED all effects into view (even with particle effects turned off).

Just Wanted to drop a line an say thanks a ton to Hate for hosting an awesome server. Been playing with a titanium client on the server for a few weeks now and unable to get y hands on a newer client to make he most of the custom content. Grabbed UF client last night, incredible speed.

Server is back up. The hiccup today was system failing to correctly boot some of the networking components (specifically iptables infinite looping). Go figure.

I downloaded teamspeak for iphone and it seems to be working great. I don't have a headset any more, so this is an awesome alternative.

hate i have downloaded the client file for uf and i have installed 7zip.. but for some reason i cant get it to unzip the files. any chance u could give some friendly advice?

Ok, dont know If you have figured it out, or not but i was able to Duplicate your "Error"

what you want to do is rt click the file, select 7zip, select open file (with the arrow to the right) and then select the astirisc ( * )


That should fix the Error as 7zip wasnt sure what the file type was and if you select any of the types for it, it would lock up.

I duplicated the error on a machine running vista, but didnt have the problem on my machine running XP or Win7. Not sure what you were running but, that should resolve it.. Good luck

this  helped me out, was bout to send e-mail but it worked
