From Rymo's posts and talking with another player in-game, it seems like the earrings don't do much :/ not sure if that's a bug... but the DPS doesn't seem to be there.

Earring of the Brutal Ages rank 50
Increase all skills damage modifier by 200%
Increase all skills minimum damage modifier by 200%

Rogue 9.0 Epic
Increase all skills damage modifier by 510%
Increase all skills minimum damage modifier by 510%

They don't stack I think.

That makes sense

1 million AA's and 150,000,000 platinum (50 GSoA valued @ 3m) is a lot to spend on an item that doesn't have any net value over a class's epic.

If it rolled over every hit would be negative damage.

Plus it's not required other then end game guys with nothing else to do.

The 510% should be on the backstab only, where the earring should be all melee damage. I'll look in to it though.

Speaking of the rogue epic, I believe we are still getting the benefits of the mod twice if we have 2 in

silly question, that I am sure I know the answer to, but if a mage has the earring it does not affect their pet in any way correct?

Rent I know I read early on that it does affect pet DMG as hate said you should see it on a beastlord pet... So one would assume all pets are subject to its benefits

If I recall correctly, the only reason it affects bst pets is because they get the melee version of the earring.  I have no idea what the caster version is, but I don't think their pets get the same bonus that bst pets do from what I remember people discussing.  But as I said, I have nothing to support this other than a shoddy memory.

The bigger issue with the earring is the ridiculously low drop rate of stones in relevant content...I've recently ground out two full UCv3 in T8 and managed 2, which were the first two I'd seen drop in T8+ in months, and I'm not exaggerating that for emphasis...it was literally months between seeing one drop.  It sounds like HoH might be the best place to find them, I talked to a seller that pulled 4 out across a 2 day span.  In my opinion, the AA required on the earring should be the mitigating factor and not the stones themselves, but I don't know that it's broken at all since people still manage to complete the earrings regardless.  I wouldn't be opposed to a review of their drop rates though, /nudge.

Dims right. The pet benefit for the earring is a BST pet thing, to offset their lack of benefit from mana necks and summoners packs. Dim's also right in that beastlords overall need a revisit to their dps; even with maxed strikes and UC their damage vs a similarly geared monk, ranger or rogue overall is rather lackluster. Will pull up some numbers for comparison.

Interesting. A max value is in place where it shouldn't be....I'm almost afraid to fix it but here goes.

... and Rymo and the elite few become absolute GODS

As they should I suppose, since they put in a ridiculous amount of work into those earrings...

All with UC1 Strike 9x1s, his Beastlord was actually the BEST dps of the crew.

This is the only empirical fact I can point to. Dim and Chunka, did BST get worse in later tiers? This points to them being well balanced at least up to T7
