I have recently come back to EZ Server. I downloaded the RoF2 client, MQ2, and WinEQ2, and they all seem to run fine together. That is, when I can get past the Server Select screen. Over half the time, no servers show up on the list. Does anyone else have this problem and know of a solution?

Yes. it happens now and again, but it's not an EZ issue
Logins are handled at eqemu, probably timeout/lag, just have to try again until it shows

Hopefully Akka will have the direct login sorted at some point, bypassing the eqemu issues

We have a working prototype for our Loginserver alternative here - I just have literally had zero time to test it out, the main loginserver has been problematic for some time

No worries. I think my problem was a slow wifi. I found I was getting very slow download speeds at the time, so I reset the modem and it was fast again. I haven't had a blank server list since.
