Nerd aug vs strike aug level req

Saw a higher end (X or XI) strike aug linked last night with A 70 level requirement but nerd augs above V require 75? Is there any particular reason behind this? It just doesn’t really make sense considering I can legitimately build the higher nerd augs via drops but I can’t legitimately build the higher strike augs without buying essence off players.

Am I overlooking something?

My guess is that it's an oversight needing to be fixed. When the item was made it was probably based off of the first rank of ninjastrike and then had the stats adjusted for a T10 version but the level requirement was never changed. Regardless, anyone not in T10 shouldn't be using a T10 strike and hopefully it can be fixed easily enough.

Gotcha, I was kinda hoping it was an oversight on the nerd augs :p they drop fairly common enough in T3 that you can easily build em up higher.

And I agree there’s no reason to use t10 augs in the lower tiers, I barely manage Aggro as it is with t2 strike augs. Monk or rogue will occasionally rip Aggro but nothing a taunt doesn’t usually fix.

Yes you can place higher augs but you will find they wont proc till the level they are for.

ns 10 has a proc lvl of 76

The server used to be lvl 70 only. when the extra lvls were added augs had lvl restrictions added. theres nothing against adding an aug higher than your tier its just it wont work.

nerds are similar just instead of a proc lvl they have a required lvl. effectivly the same just written diferently
