Its not just about the necklace.  How about the generator.  Without zps its next to impossible to even think about getting one.

First halloween event I got neck done on my warrior when i was only MOSTLY t9 geared. No ZP. The zone was not meant to be zone pulled.

    What zone was 'meant' to be zone pulled? People out gear the zone, and then can zone pull it, which is what seemed to have happened with HW, unless I'm missing something. I just zone pulled my way through T5 in about 8 hours, and yet, I understand that people used to complete the zone the intended way, with intended level gear, but it took months to accomplish. Is the argument that HW zone should be a special case because it's a limited event?

I think that's exactly what it is, a special case, as it is a non progression event zone and a chance to get some nice gear normally not available to us.

When zp's were introduced, it was a nice way of back farming early content etc, and allowed to be zone pulled so you had less grind to bring up alts, farm essences for UW etc

I doubt HW was considered zp able when first introduced, but now it is, getting keystones way faster than intended, not to mention the insane amount of zps/DL-TL tokens/essences etc to be gained compared to normal zones wasn't even thought of

Just my thoughts, and to be honest i agree with the decision, its still fun and possible to do. Its one zone - live with it  Grin
(just imagine what it would be like going back to farming without zps in normal zones)

Awsome to see a T11 TBD on the wiki page but are there going to be mandatory reward items that will be needed to be purchased (10.5 group cure) in order to progress in the new zone ?

     Farm some stuff and trade people for credits. There's plenty of people who will trade credits for any number of things that you can farm. Might be some tough farms for things like GSOA's or GSS's, but OC essences are worth a mint, and just require time.

     I have no idea what T11 might require, but it's nothing you're ever forced to spend your money on, credits are tradeable.

Easy enuf just thought it may be helpful to possibly get a heads up, seems like a select few have an inside track on the future expansion requirements. ie 3 pieces of UA months before 10.5 was ever released.

Yeah, it would be a damn shame if someone already had over 2 full groups in full UA and enough banked GSS to test the requirements with other toons.  The only way anyone could possibly know is if they had secret insider info not publicly avaialable.

Zone pulling was for me one of the most fun things to do on EZ because it was actually challenging. I was the first to ZP both T10 and the HW zone back in the days. and I can tell you it took a lot of practice, timing, and working out what spells and abilities to use.

It's with the necklace as it is farming other stuff like Svartmane, fastest if you kill and rotate realms/instances, not ZP'ing. That's also the best strategy when it comes to farming spesific gemstones Smiley

To be fair, most everyone with a full UA warrior zone pulled the halloween zone the second it was enabled. Not all survived not all failed, but pretty much everyone matching the above did it within a few minutes of each other lol.
