Download the eqhost.txt file HERE and paste it into your base Everquest folder (it should give you a 'Do you want to replace an existing file' pop up).  Just to make sure that's not an issue.

    Thank you, But i do have that info in my file.  at the server list in the game, i do not always see the EZ server listed.  when i do, i can then get that error.  is there any other fix ??

I updated the file in all my folders... I can log in no problem,

However, every time I pull more than a few mobs... I get MASSIVE lag spikes or I get straight up disconnected.  I go back to character select, and am able to spawn back in, but my hott bar is borked and I zp, and disconnected again. I just logged off after wasting 3 triples. Oh well.

I have been having REALLY bad lag spikes today also...even when not doing anything...

No see EZ server on the list of servers.  Tried numerous times.  Made the suggested file changes, no luck.
