Didn't Hunter make something or say something about what to do with the spammer?  I thought i heard something, but I would like to destroy the spammers computer.

It's the spammer of the ages, my friend. Everytime we whack him, he comes back to spam, and gets more inventive with each name. Everytime we pop him, he sprouts back up like weeds.

(We being hunter.)

I think they determined his IP to be from texas. I think someone should hunt him down and remove his hands at the base. I feel this is an appropriate punishment. I'm willing to compensate you in-game for your acts of justice. /cough

Godspeed.

Here is a quick protip for life:
DON'T FEED THE TROLLS
Don't acknowledge him. Don't reply to his /ooc's, don't laugh at him, don't get mad at him, don't say a damn word. The more you talk to him the more he's gonna wanna stay. He stays because you guys get pissed and give him attention or make these threads. He runs a cheap ass dial up connection so perma bans aren't going to do much good. Not to mention more than likely this guy knows about teh proxiez.

Just pretend he isn't there. /ignore him. filter out /ooc entirely. Whatever it takes.

Likely can ban entire subnets, but, if any user is from that ISP, they too are banned.

Can likely ban the entire subnet/service and just post on the forums to send a pm to the GM if you cant log in.
With a few hundred players, its unlikely anyone wont log in.

I'm fairly certain, since its a dial up, you just ban the ENTIRE subnet, (prolly just the C? class) i think.

Anyways, that would ONLY get that specific ISP (since they are given that C class to use, or is it B? i cant remember, Crab would know I bet).

Anyways, yea, just ban the entire X.X.*.* and you prolly wont have any problems, and the only people asking for a lift on the ban would be people also using the same dialup ISP Tongue

yeah i would say ban the entire area, go drastic. If someone cant connect they should be able to post it on the forum and Hunter could remove THAT particular user. Little bit of a hassle, but worth it for a clear (mostly) OOC channel
