SK 4.0

I hear the lifetap on the 4.0 does the same amount of 3.0 and the clicky is broken

is this true?

i was linked the 4.0 the other day and i noticed the proc IS the exact same as the 3.0

Yes it is, I believe that class is on the to do list of balancing, it won't stay that way forevor I am sure of it.

Another thing. I just got my 4.0 today and the hp when converted to 1hs were cut in half. 25k 2hs to 13.5k 1hs.

Pro tip: Switch it back to 2hs. With your AA for 2hs and your beafy 2h aug you will do tons more damage.

Thanks for the advice. I take it the additional avoidance of shield block and the ac boost are negated by the additional swings, thus more procs?

When you are dealing with 100k+ hp I don't think the avoidance of the shield or the ac or the hp is going to make much of a difference at all. That 2h aug though will make a huge difference in dps though.

So i took your advice. I put the 2h aug in and it is awesome. Also found the beauty of VT the chanter spell. Holy crap awesomeness.

Sad side note. The shield and my new 3.0 soon to be pocket 3.5 clicky boomstick were in a bag together living happily when while switching between characters I managed to give the bag to Mnat Msha in qvic! She took the bag and managed to give it back after the fight. Empty.
Sigh lol stupid glitches like that drive me nuts. Now I have to spend 2 hours farming a new 3.0

Either way thanks for the advice. 2hs is the way to go.

Once you get flagged for crafters guild i'd replace that aug with the fire or ice aug. Or you could spend several million and buy them, the damage added is way more significant than the 2hd aug from PoD.

To add to your sad side note, I have away my mages sorc charm to her pet... twice. It wasn't a little bitty one either. The first time it was a 14 + upgrade, the second time it was a 15 + upgrade. Really really sucked. I actually boycotted buying them for a while on my mage. Ended up with 40 some odd thousand points, lol. (This was all before the coin bs we have now and it was also before the oracle charm worked on mage pet heals.)
