on the PoD tab, the HP aug should have the ingredient COPPER dust, not COAL dust. Can whoever made this fix it please?

server shows up, but not letting me zone in.. angry because I had JUST paid for an instance.. 10k plat down the drain. =(

I'm trying to do the FG quest and I am unable to zone into East Karana, it keeps kicking me back to the log in screen after about a minute. I've been able to get into EK many times before so I know it's not an issue with my computer. I'm running SoD client and cannot get into highpass.

Never mind, it's back up.

I'm having troubles getting into the server, my character Rayford is in South Qeynos (or TRYING to get there anyway!) but any time I try to load up, it goes to the loading screen, then a black screen with white letters that says "The server is not responding" and then boots me back to the log in screen.

Ok. Weird. I moved the folder outside of the Program Files structure, and NOW it works.

Delete the
 (charname)_EZ (Linux) x4 Exp.ini
file and reload.  Probably have a corrupt file, same thing happened to me.

Tried this. no difference in my previous post with picture.

This is the error I am getting now. The ONLY difference is I changed my screen size to 1920x1080, both full screen and windowed modes.

been working on some other stuff (oooh, hey.. Uno!)  and a computer so haven't gotten back to it quite yet,.. however, I did go ahead and reinstall, and will try one item at a time (AFTER BACKUPS!) this time...

ok, working (up to login screen) again. Forgot to note that I did do the DX9C install, rather reluctantly. I remember a beta version of Win 64 bit getting very hosed by installing DX9c (since 7 has DX11).

Vista and Windows 7 have special protections on files and directories under Program Files.  Since EQ isn't aware of how to handle those the OS does some monkey business to virtualize things.  Moving the EQ folder out of Program Files saves you a ton of headaches.

There is a registry key I've been using for a while that lets me Take Ownership of anything I need to in Win7/Vista. I wonder if doing that for the EQ folder in Win7 would be helpful?

Hello, new here, sorry if I missed this.. after looking around I appear to have missed most of the drama lately (YAY!) .. but am unable to find help on this subject, so here goes..

I have a new install of Win7 64 bit.. I was up and playing a moment ago. I have only occasionally played here, my character is merely level 8. However I noticed bots were gone and my spellbook empty, so I logged and came to the site and saw there was some files to download. I downloaded the files and put them in my main eq directory. (Silly me I didn't back up first!)

When I now try to start EQ, it gets to the EULA page and has a memory error and quits.

At the moment I am reinstalling EQ so I can't get that specific error up, but does anyone know what  else (other than reinstalling EQ) I could do to fix this?
