Updating a lot of stuff on EZ Server today, which is why the server was down.

Be sure to download the updated spell file. Both versions are now SoF. We'll probably just use the SoF for now on since it works on Titanium.

- Shadowknights now have a new epic click, a spreading DoT that affects everyone around the shadowknight. Its mystical properties are contagious only if an NPC consumes them.

NOTE: The click itself is PBAOE DoT. The initial cast, and NPC catching the spell, are the only things that can affect PCs. Pets are unaffected, NPC pets too.

NOTE2: Currently the DoT component is broken. The only thing that actually works is the PC heal. Next weekend it will be fixed provided Secrets can export the needed perl functions.

- Enchanters have a new tank pet. The scroll itself drops from special Qvic, t1, t2, and t3 bosses and has different HP/AC depending on which tier you have.

- Enchanters and Shamans both received a new spell! This spell allows them to buff the melee damage and spell damage of their group respectfully. (Shaman = More Spell Damage Buff, Enchanter = More Melee Damage Buff) This spell is auto-scribed at 69.

I'm excited to see the fixes in progress. Figures I had overnight work tonight and was looking forward to play and can't. Is there possibly an uptime estimate? I needs me some EQ!

Still getting 'Your spell did not take hold' message. Was me vs 4 mobs. I click epic, I get 4 messages. I get the dot on myself and that was that. Is this intended somehow?

mmcd LDoN currently.

Also, lifetap dmg was lowered from 6900 to 6k. erp.

Listed under Utility Beneficial -> Haste -> Shaman's Quick Thinking in your spell list.

Gives a 5% damage increase from spells. Not very useful to melee, but with casters and their nukes.... a nifty increase. :3

The cleric 2.0 click is crashing some zones now when used. (So far it accidentally crashed ldon 5, and i think 6. Took a few times to realize it was actually the click.)

I am not sure why that could be. I'm willing to bet its related to the other crash I fixed today. What is the name of the spell so I can duplicate it?

It's friggin broken code Cayartis submitted which ended up being revised by KLS into more broken code. I'm probably going to revert a few SVN revisions and send the updated patch files to Hunter, and yell at KLS to fix it :p

Very nice!

Dont' want to derail too much but my short list of wants:

Necro - any reason they don't get DOT focus buff??

Druid - epic is annoying to click all the time, maybe make it group buff, or just get rid of the cooldown?

Ranger - epic click is also a bit annoying, make it a proc instead?  Or just last longer, like 3-5 minutes with 1 min cooldown...  Also I get an error message when I use it - yes I have the spellfile.  It works, I just get an error... and YES I have the spellfile!  :)

I like the changes but would have rather seen the Melee damage boost on then SHM and hte spell dmg boost on the ENC.
Its totally awesome update and am looking forward to playing with it tonight.

Anything that normally gets affected by GetActSpellDamage should take focus effects, this one included, into consideration.  The code behind it is actually something i wrote to solve the issues with brawler stacking initially, but it has taken on a life of its own.

Have to say, server stablity has not been good lately.  After PoFire crashed 2 times in 30 mins I left, but other zones are crashing regularly too, even ones that don't normally (fearplane, ldons, etc).  LDON6 has now bombed twice in 30-40 mins..  :'(

aaand now a patch to fix it woo :)

SoD has some native display issues, unsure why, but the server dictates when you get a buff and when it expires, not you. So don't worry, it's not fixable, though I have a feeling its focus effect related.

Yeah, I copy-pasted a mage pet. I'll remove to reagents for the next reboot. I wasn't even aware that the pets had scripts on them. They aren't supposed to wield any items; they are offtanks that proc anger III.

As soon as I get enrage in general/pets getting hit by rampage fixed, I will annouce more on those shaman spells.

Buff duration probably is focus related on the warrior.  I noticed that all of his clickies were shorter duration than before.

Druid has always been 6 mins for me.  Or is the 3.0 longer than others?

I notice when I cast a buff it will say 3 minutes or whatever then increase immediately after, I assumed this was from a focus item/AA effect. ?

Gimpy is right.

1.  Buff Duration is now 25% shorter.  For example: 6 minutes on Ferine Avatar versus a previous 8 minutes.  It's missing perhaps a 33% boost from somewhere.  Tested on warrior at first, but after further testing on the bard, it seems guardian charm is no longer giving enhanced duration. (He had same durations as warrior using sorc)

2.  Bard Song "Ancient: Call of Power" no longer effects procs, nukes are currently untested. (Used to be 30% on base damage +450 Anger IV, +300 Anger V) 

3.  This one is pretty hard to test, but it seems mobs are once again hitting harder. (AC calculations changed again or mitigation in some way?)

Just an FYI for people getting the chanter spell (because i had one or two people send Entrancerr a tell yesterday asking this.)

The recast time for all the spells is 900000 which equates out to ~15 minutes. So once you scribe it you gotta wait 15 mins to cast. Don't worry it isn't broken just a long recast. Also the spell is a modified version of a mage earth pet and the regent was unchanged and unremoved so you DO need a malachite to cast these pets :) I don't know the stats on all of them but the T2 can tank T2 like it's nothing (with a cleric of course. Get Pet Affinity so you can buff him and he can get group heals) He only hits for 1 damage (no that's not a typo...1 damage. He's meant to tank not dps) and procs Anger 3. According to Secrets the T3/T4 version (which is 1 spell) has 210k hp.

Also for anyone who hasn't seen the pet that's wondering, it's an Invisible Man model (like normal chanter pets) with a Pally 1.0 in one hand and a Qeynos Kite Shield on the other. I've taken to calling him "my personal Qeynos Guard" ^_^

Just figured i would hand that info out to anyone that wanted to know. :P Enjoy playing your newly rolled Chanters XD

Enchanters require the AA "Animation Empathy" to control any non-charmed pet. It must be maxed to have full control of your pet. I can control my pet just fine on Entrancerr so i'm assuming this is the problem.

Also i can confirm this pet's hailing script is bugged (unless it was intentional) My enchanter is only CG flagged atm. Hailing the pet yesterday caused her to be marked as FG flagged and only the "buff" option came up. Today it says she has no guild flags and there's no buff or firesword options. Other pets (casted or CG) still work fine however on her and Dany both.

Of course..like i said...with a cleric. lol

Quick question on the enchanter tanking pet. If it only hits for 1 dmg and doesn’t pull any weight dps wise, that puts a lot of reliance on outside-dps. Which is fine. But doesn’t the pet dynamic work so if you have anyone smacking the mob, the mob attacks the PC and not the pet no matter where they are positioned on the hate list?

I like the chanter change, and I was thinking about making one as an easier way to get a solid tank for my bot team, but if to function well I need caster DPS, im going to pass and they’re going to be a lot less desireable. If this is unintended, could maybe make the chanter tank pet act like a PC like bots in The Hidden Forest.

THF's code is a mess. No offense to Striat, he's a talented coder, but it's a mess. Most of the time spent fixing bots could be dedicated to making content. Part of the reason I left THF is fixing bot code all the time, some with complex issues that I couldn't fathom. Absolutely not are we ever going to see bot logic here >.<

I think that is how it is intended, but not functioning correctly at this point due to lack of hp's on the pets....or perhaps not enough defense put on them because they are dropping like flies.

Are the enchanter pets not durable enough even with the HP boosts I gave them today?
