You and Godtank both labor under the delusion that Hate and Akk have a staff that helps them troubleshoot, monitor and fix items on the server, and that somehow they pay their bills with what they do here.

Ummmm....no. When you talking about nerfing things because someone "took advantage of something that was in place for over a year"....yeah, thats called an exploit if they did it in a way not intended by admin. When admin FINDS these issues (usually with the help of the playerbase) they shut em down. I know you werent here for this, but at one point Hunter had an effect on the T7+ warrior BP that essentially made the warrior unkillable. He didnt intend that, he didnt know it was happening, until it was pointed out to him....and after he fixed the issue by changing the effect.

It'd been that way for well over a year.

Godtank complains about the Skin of Drake nerf. Same issue. It was freakin BROKEN, so Hate fixed it. Well, same with the issue you're referring to. It was an exploit, plain and simple....so it was fixed. You HAD to know that the exploit wasnt intended....anyone with half a brain did if they were honest with themselves. So....Hate fixed it.

T5 is easier now than its been....ever....unless you were someone who was exploiting the T5 mini. If you were, then thank you! I hate the minis anyway, and people like you are the ones who will eventually see them completely shut down.

Yay!

And unless I am thinking of someone different from you regarding the botter/exploiter thing.....again, delusional. The guy was a botmonkey, and was punished for such before the issue in question. And, again, unless he was mentally defective he and anyone else who jumped in with him KNEW it was an exploit....in fact I know for a fact he knew, because he sent a tell to one of my alts in a dead guild asking me to come join in "before they figure it out and shut it down".

Recently checked Jaggedpine for SLS. Whatever fixes were done at one point to resolve the pathing issues there seem to have been undone. Mobs diving underground more than ever, and often mobs dying and falling under terrain even if they died above ground. This could use some attention again.

GT, just stop. I know you have issues with anyone wearing the FH tag, or anyone who doesnt agree with your views,,,,we get it. Get over it.

And the personal attack comment swings both ways.

The bottom line is the easier you make the game, the more time sinks you remove, the less time it takes to get to top tier. When you do that the tendency is to play less, or stop playing at all. This leads to less people playing who actively GIVE a shit about the server, and more of the "Well, P99 is down I'll make a ranger and go solo for a few minutes.....oh, look! EZ Server! I bet thats right up my alley!"

Granted some of those players end up sticking and falling in love with the place, but they are the exception, not the rule. The more player churn we have, the less the quality of the population....the worse the community. It makes for a poorer server than it could be. Hunter knew this, and knew that balancing between this and the other end of the spectrum wasnt easy. Akk and Hate do too....and like Hunter they also make mistakes. Part of the "job" of the playerbase is to give feedback, and that feedback wont always agree.

Again....get over it. And the personal attack comment swings both ways.

On the SPECIFIC loot issue, that can potentially be addressed. I'll review the script tomorrow to see what I may be able to do to assist in that area.

Just to add my observation to the mix, after many clears and getting a total of nearly 70% less tokens than the non BP/Leg type on Splitpaw (legs) and a little over 50% less on H1N1 I started instance bouncing to just farm those areas (Skies for Splitpaw and Underworld for H1N1), and saw no improvement on drop rate for those 2 types. A guildie was handing me all his loots from another instance and the numbers were pretty similar, and some in GC mentioned they had the same issues. It seems completely random now.

As I said guys....Hate didnt seem happy about it. In the long run as annoying as things can sometimes be these guys always seem to make things right.

Even if we may not always like it Cheesy

The only thing that might make me NOT buy a Skylake were I in your shoes is whats coming from AMD...and thats not clear. But what they are claiming perf wise is fairly incredible...and 3 other things to consider:

Consoles are making deals right now to put AMD Zen CPU and APU into their new systems
According to a friend "in the know" the rumors are true, and Apple is rapidly becoming an AMD processor company. Nextgen iMacs will be Zen CPUs
.....well, just Google "AMD China"!

All this has lead to a 50%+ stock jump for AMD recently, and no sign of it slowing. Something big is coming.

Lotta great ways to go right now when it comes to hardware. But all in all its ALWAYS best to build your own if you can. Premade systems almost universally cost more than they should, and unless you watch the build like a hawk they often use substandard hardware.

I was for years an AMD fanboy, and I still like a lot of what they do....but as things stand the best bang for the buck IMO is Intel's Skylakes (1151 sockets). They are far more power efficient than ever, can easily overclock (my I7 6700 is standard 4.0 GHz but runs OC'd at 4.9 with just a decent fan and heatsink and its WAY stable....and seldom gets over 44C).

Oh, did I mention 4K vid support?

The mobos built for this CPU come in DDR3 if you wanna use older ram, but you can also get em with DDR4 support, which is finally seeing some massive stability and perf jumps over DDR3 (no one's sure yet what the real speed limit is on this new ram, but they are selling em now in 4266Mhz flavors). Also the 1151 socket boards support PCI-E 3.0, another performance jump over the AM3 boards used by AMD CPU's.

Of course they come with a little higher price tag, too. A top end AMD FX CPU can be had for a little over $200 right now, whereas the higher end Skylakes will go for nearly twice that. But there are decent and solid I5's that will go for around $200 on the Skylake end.

So.....some examples from newegg:

Skylake I7 6700 4.0 Ghz on newegg right now for $350

or, a lower cost option:

I5 6600 3.5 Ghz on newegg right now for $250

ASUS Z170 A mobo on newegg right now for $140

G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2133 on newegg right now for $90

So your core components before GPU will run you $480 to $580 with this option.

From there its just a matter of finding a case you like....a decent PSU and drives, and then pick your GPU (hard to go wrong with Nvidia right now.....4 gig 960s for under $200, 970's for just over $300, or go big and grab a 980 starting at just under $500).

Ok....that being said.....Q4 this year AMD is releasing their new Zen processors, which are supposed to be 8 core powerhouses with superfine 14nm architecture and support for DDr4, PCI-E3.0 and more. No final numbers on these yet as far as costs etc, but they will be a new socket type, which means your board better be ASUS (they usually jump out the gate fastest with stable, solid boards for new builds), and probably means prices will be competitive with Intel.

Sorry if this left you more confused than you were.
