That is giving people a BIG benefit.  New players, from my experience of reading /ooc, do not bother to read the wiki.  How many times a day to you see questions asked in /ooc that were EASILY answered if some lazy schmuck would just take the time to read the frigging wiki? A LOT!

In their defense.....most of them are a product of US public education. I have my doubts many of them CAN read. My current theory is that they play using some form of text to simulated voice interface.

I downloaded all 10 on my nephews tower today (working on upgrading him some) and had zero issues. None of the files are corrupt, no issues whatsoever. Need to follow the directions on setup I stated in the guide, exactly: do not put the game into another older client folder. NEVER use any loader, patcher, etc.....always use the shortcut method. Shouldnt need to add any files to that 10 part RoF2 zip....its complete as it sits. Run the client from a base folder, NOT a program files subdirectory. C:\EZRoF2 or whatever you wanna name the folder is best. And RUN AS ADMIN! Both your client and MQ2 should run as admin.

Thank you for the info on the mapfilter issues.....I was getting not only the chat screens vanishing (completely, not just the text clearing) as well as target clearing on its own, whether I had MQ2 up or not. Seems T10 doesnt like my UI.

The workaround and dumping Dim's mods, then reloading MQ2 from a fresh install seems to have fixed the issue (I hope).

But yeah, whether its the number of mobs and objects in the zone or the code thats doing it, T10 is a pain in the ass before you even get to deal with mob difficulty. Add to the fact that you are having to fight with increasing numbers of players making it into the zone (no instances)....well, I aint lovin it.

Agreed. Only agro issues I have are on the "suicide AoE" classes, wizzie and druid. Outside that, even my rogue (UWXI) cant peel agro from the warrior.

Yeah, and cross agro/pulls get kind of gnarly.

The warrior here is a tank, pure and simple. They are NOT dps. Yes, with UW they are UGLY dps.....but thats a direct result of their being main tank (a HUGE percentage of their dps is the result of natural riposte...and no, not from glasses). If you are looking for an offtank that can DPS might I suggest a SK....a warrior here isnt dps.

The wiki is a pretty decent resource for setting up pretty much anything here. Tons of info, great to have ready as a reference while you play. Can also check the one labeled "Chunka Wiki" if you cant find what you need on the main (though for some reason that fat bastard hasnt updated it in a while, nor has he made the changes he CLAIMS he has planned!! Dude, wtf??)

What I ended up doing was blocking the spell on my tanks (right click the spell icon on the buff bar, select add to block list). No more issue.

Or.....do it the easy way. Go talk to the porter wench, say "Brellsrest". Once there, turn around and zone to the Hole. It drops you right on top of Yael or Guardian, whichever is up.

Speaking of pally epic.....seems the lower tier epic weapons cant be swapped to epic fatass for 1h versions anymore. Intentional? If so, may want to find a way to bring em back, since some are actually trying tanking knights now.
