It's like everything else in the world, most of the time when you trust someone they stab you in the back. I don't even trust all my real life friends and I certainly wouldn't trust someone I only know over the internet.
I found my best friend over the Internet. We actually met in EverQuest back in 1999 on Solusek Ro server. But I would agree that trust can be a hard thing to find.
Giving too much power to people that actually play here would be a mistake which I'm sure he's dealt with already. I would grief you guys all day long if I had the power
especially the person that posts next, he would get it bad.
Reminds me of some people in the Verant/Sony's Guide Program. Some went berserk after only 3 months of active duty, while some of us felt the constraints and worked to smooth them out for years (in my particular case, 4 or so). It heavily depends on what kind of person you are.
I guess it boils down to this: Do you want to help others or just yourself? Because griefing others is basically helping yourself.
