True the PoD DS stuff would help... but if you want to do that, you might as well just make a warrior and get the Anger5 Augs. It would take about the same time.

Having a second 3.0 on a bard does not increase the DS. The second 3.0 is simply for the added regen effect, and perhaps stats.

This started happening to me after the zone crash fix was implemented. Only happened a couple times. It has happened in Ldon4 and in PoTime, always when doing a big pull.

I'm all for the availability of such an item. I like earning it even better than newbie vendor.

If Hunter is working on tradeskill guild right now, perhaps that could be a reward.

I like it as a drop as well. Perhaps both.

You said Pofire, so we must assume you mean the 47-70 stretch...

47-70 is warriors hands down IF you have the T1 angerV augs.

IF you do NOT have the augs, Bards are the next best PLer using the bard 1100dmg damage shield and regen songs.

Plain and simple.

I'll expand on why bards are the best: DPS.

No other class can hit 30 mobs for 1100dmg at the same time consistently for an extended amount of time (short of the AngerV augs).

Bards DS hits around 1100 every time a mob hits you. If the poFire mobs hit for an average of 50dmg and you have a regen of 2600 per tick (regen song 600 +duel epic 3.0's for 1khp each), you can hit dozens of mobs at the same time for 1100's consistently without having to do anything fancy (that's about 9500 DPS). This high DPS is more sustainable than other classes as it is more passive.

[rough numbers off the top of my head, test for yourself if you want exact]

I can't believe people are complaining about a name.  If it offends you, turn off the names.  If you don't like it, don't look at it.  Kids are going to make stupid names all the time.  

The way I deal with names like that is to ignore the person.  I don't respond to any of his/her posts, don't offer to help them and never buff them.  

Just remember, if something offends you, it's no big deal.  It's not like anything bad is going to happen.  It's not like if you're offended, you're going to wake up with leprosy.  Just ignore it and move on.

Just seems like people will always whine about something being too hard.

I camped and traded 4 sets of CG/FG for ONE Qvic/Ldon run each before I was strong enough to box 3.0's by myself, Plus camped the sets for all my toons.  There were lines at all the spawns. There were no instances available. I just stuck to it and got it done. 

Now you can camp a set, sell it for 500-700k and buy 2 to 5 Qvic runs for one set.   You can buy an instance and make a ton of plat. You can buy/sell drops that used to be no drop.

Things are WAY easier now and people are complaining. I think they will always complain. It doesn't matter how easy you make it.

Maybe when you can just hail an NPC in SFG and it gives you all T4 Armor/Weapons and congratulates you for beating the game they will be happy.

The only exceptions I've seen lately have been male dental assistants. Doesn't hurt to try though.

Spell gems? What do you use those for? Epic 3.0 won't cast from a spell gem.

oh yeah... cast pet for buffs... for when a shaman is doing ... wait, shaman dont need buffs either. Nevermind.

So yeah, that leaves epic 3.0 clicky. Thus is the plight of an EZ shaman.

Tested it by pulling Time (yes all of it) about 10 times.

Zone stayed up every time, but did semi-crash my client once. It was rather odd. I could control the toon but could not see the mobs move or die. So I just had my druid watch from afar and finished the fight.

Very nice update. This really puts bards on the back shelf now that warriors don't crash the zone anymore.  Bards used to be preferred for RoA because they kill fast and don't crash zones. Now it's warriors hands down.

Might be nice to throw bards a bone. Perhaps increase haste so it makes sense to have a bard with less than 4 melee in group? just a thought.

Not sure. Haven't checked old school mobs.
