HPs website is slow and crappy, but if you get it to work, click the drivers tab, pick your os, then expand original or graphics depending on whether you have Windows 7 or 8 and download the Intel graphics driver.  You can probably download it direct from Intel as well, but HPs  site won't load the specs page so I don't know what chipset it is.

You need the specific driver for your onboard video.  The default Microsoft drivers are generic so they can't provide acceleration.  You should be able to get it from your motherboard manufacturer.

The unknown effects you see are from MQ2 and have nothing to do with the client or server.  They are just not implemented.

Sounds like you have the Underfoot client and haven't copied the missing files over.

You might want to wait a bit before buying an 840 EVO.  Right now there's an issue with the drives that makes them read very slowly for old data.  There's supposed to be a fix coming this week or so, but it'll take a month or so after that to see if the fix is really permanent or not.  The 850 EVO is also coming pretty soon so you might want to wait for that.

MQ2Melee freaks out often when skills/aa/spells have incorrect data or just don't match the spell file in a particular way.

Hey guys, I need to update 1 package on the server.  Downtime will be somewhere between 5 minutes and 4 days, depends how much it need to recompile.

I haven't done it recently, but I did all of Time except for Dragon Slave with 3 toons, monk, pally, druid.  I also did Terrorantula with the same 3 toons.  As long as I kept the damage shield dispelled it wasn't that bad.

I did LDoN with the same crew although I had a little help on level 5 when I got overwhelmed with trash and wiped.

Of course, that was a long time ago, so maybe it is different now.  Yeah it took a long time, but back then it was taking people half an hour to kill Shadow too so it just seemed par for the course.

You do know that there is no actual House of Thule client support in the emu right?  The client is Underfoot.  You may have copied the House of Thule zone files into it which the Underfoot client will load, but that doesn't change the actual client binary you're running or the version of MQ2 you use, etc.

I think all future tiers should be instances of Kedge Keep, cause people love water.

What does /plugin list print?  Where do you have mq2 installed?

Depending on where you have it installed your config files may have been virtualized.  Running in compatibility mode complicates the issue as well, you almost never need it.  I suspect that where mq2 is looking for the MacroQuest.ini file has changed as a result of the update or how you're running it and it is using the default plugin list which does not include the twist plugin.

I'd search your hard drive for all copies of MacroQuest.ini.  Chances are you'll find more than one, and need to copy your old settings to where it is now looking.
