Title: Experience Mask
Post by: Bogreaper on September 28, 2017, 06:41:28 am
Someone asked me the other day about a macro to exchange out the experience mask with their normal mask.

I didn't have one, so I wrote one.

It will search your bags for any level experience mask, and report that in the mq window
It then will check if it is ready, then checks that MGB is ready.

If it can not find an exp mask, or if either MGB or the mask is not ready it will state what is not ready in the mq window then end the macro without doing anything.

If all is good, it will swap the mask your wearing for your exp mask, activate mgb, then right click the mask.  It waits 12 seconds, then checks that your not casting a spell still, then it will put the face item you had on to begin with back on your face and the exp mask back in your bag where it found it.

Notes:

#1: This uses ${FindItem[]}  if you do not have an item in bank inventory slot 1, everquest will CRASH, please insure that you have something in bank slot 1.

Uses mq2exchange and mq2cast you can check if you have them with /plugin list while in everquest.  If one is not listed you can try and load it with

/plugin mq2exchange
/plugin mq2cast

if they don't load, send me a PM and we will see what we can do.

If you want (or if /useitem does not work for you for some reason) you can change line 35 to
/itemnotify ${FindItem[mask of experience rank].InvSlot} rightmouseup
But I suggest that you use /useitem whenever possible.

Peace

All good and helpful as always Bog

The only think I would be cautious on is mq2exhange

I don't know if RoF2 has the issue but UF did
Mq2exchange and bandolier could eat your gear and loose it

Didn't happen often, but was an issue
Hopefully RoF2 has cured it

Would hate to loose a high level mask hehe

Good to know, was not aware of that.

Does anyone know if this is still an issue?

Peace

I posted about the mq2exchange over on redguides, will reply the info here once I hear back from them.

I don't have a vip account with macroquest2 so if anyone does, and wishes to poise the question there that would be great.

Thanks
