I got a question for you all. How many of you are running at least 2 warriors in your setup of 12-36 toons? Are you split tanking? if not.. you should!!!
I am only saying this because for the longest time, I have ran 2 warriors and added a 3rd. My thought process was if Mixlor ever died.. the second or third warrior would pick up the mobs and keep on trucking. But its nigh impossible if you have too many attacking the same warrior. Keep in mind the key point here is 1 warrior trying to tank 2-5 mobs.
Take Kael for instance. When I first entered the zone, I had 3 warriors in my setup but only Mixlor was trying to tank everything. Pulling 2 giants with my Tunare BP and UA gear was scary. Anything more than 2 was a 100% wipe. But... someone told me to split tank. Simply take the extra tanks and stick them on a mob so that is less damage being done to the main tank. 1 cleric with a druid or shaman heal can keep the tanks up WITH pallies stacked in the group of tanks. Once I learned this, my days of praying for the bard lull song or Enc mez spell from Kael are over. I have them both and dont even use them doing the split tank method. I couldn't believe that I didn't think of this before even when starting in Veeshan. I just took a little time to setup a hotkey for the 2nd and 3rd tank to target something.
Example Hotkey: ( on Main Tank) /multiline ; /bct (offtank) //xtar 1 ; /timed 2 /itemnotify "Warrior Class Augment 10" rightmouseup
If you have more than 2 tanks.. just add a second line on the hotkey for the other tank and //xtar 2. Even if you then have everyone attacking the target of the Main Tank.. the 2 offtanks have already aggroed their mobs and they will be taking the damage from the adds rather than the MT taking damage from all 3 mobs.
If you don't have 2 tanks in your setup, maybe build up your SK with the spell from Veeshan and gear them up.
Now, why am I mentioning this? Because we seem to be making EZ "easy" and its starting to ruin the content for me. I like easy but there needs to be somewhat of a challenge. Kael was that challenge as I learned new tips and tricks from others. But it was tweaked down and now I feel like its another mundane grind with no worries of wiping unless I pull 7-10. Kael is setup for single pulls with the chance to get 2 mobs in one pull because there are mobs that are grouped. Again, starting off I was scared to pull 2, but I learned to use my monk with FD to split them. If you don't have a monk, then SHD, Necro and even rogue with FD item from Airplane might do it. But if you use split tanking, then the FD/lull/mez isn't needed.
So folks, work on your gear, upgrade your strike augs and get some UWs. Once I did that, Kael became even easier for me before the tweaks. Now, its even easier.. right to the point of being too easy. My personal opinion was to increase the chance of item drops but keep the damage the same and possibly the HPs. I agree that was rough to go through all of that and get absolutely nothing when you killed a named mini or a Boss. I know that not all folks run 48 toons like I do, but I have done Kael with 12, 18, 24, 30 and 48. It does have a scaling factor and the only way for you to get the DPS you want is to boost your gear and weapons, no matter how many toons you are running.
btw, I am only running 48 toons right now because of the Fury of the Giants quest. I plan in the future to drop down to 24. That is really all I want to run.
Just my 2 copper on everything and moving forward in 2024.

So, tonight I tried my 48 Kael crew. Loaded everyone in at Stonehive, no LDs.. created a guild instance of Kael and everyone loaded into Kael with no LDs. I started off at Ragnar area and clear the whole area. I started working my way to Tormax and had 3 toons go LD on a pull of 4 giants. cleared all the way up the hill (with multiple pulls of 4 giants getting to the top) and it was at the archway on a pull of 2 giants from Tormax room, that I had 10 toons go LD across my 4 machines. I then sent everyone to Stonehive to log out and lost 1 toon to LD.
I played for about 45 mins tonight and did pretty good staying connected until the end. It s a long way from before where I would have 0 LDs unless something was happening to my internet or it was server wide, but there is still something wrong. Probably the stuff (hardware, etc) Draca was talking about, but tonight was much better than before.

I am posting this in hopes that others might have the same issues or provide some clarity and or a fix. Some others have expressed similar issues.
Since this last event which a server update was pushed... I have experienced toons going LD or DC in zones upon arriving. When I load in my crew of 48 in Stonehive, I can get them all grouped and stand around for a while with no DCs. When I load in to Kael, I experience 5-10 toons that will DC. I load them in and kill some mobs and I might see 1 or 2 DC during the fight. If I load back into Stonehive, same thing... I will lose 5-10 random toons to DC. My setup is spread across 4 machines and I haven't changed anything in the last 3 years since I came back. Still using the same MQ2 (2013) and EQBCserver. My setup was working fine with no issues in Kael as I would play almost every night trying to get more of the grind done. I was fine during the first test period (Saturday) of Fear itself and would alternate going into Kael -with no issues. The only time I have noticed this was after the server update this weekend since during the event, I didn't load in 48 toons to attempt Kael or Fear Itself zone. I tried to knock my crew down to 30 toons to see if less toons would help but ended up with the same issues happening. I have deleted and recreated the Kael zone as well.. but again.. I am DCing in public Stonehive as well.
I have read the forums searching for an answer and some discussions point to MQ2.. which like I have said.. I haven't changed anything in the last 3 years. I haven't really done anything with MQ2 or EQBCserver except to tell everyone to zone into a Kael guild instance (/bcaa //say enter guild Mixlor Kael) in which I instantly get DCs on random toons. I am not using the new MQNext or E3 programs.
I would be willing to help test if Draca or Sarthin are online to watch the logs and maybe can pinpoint something. As of right now, its frustrating and not worth me trying to log in to do anything.

So, no talk about the Ez credits being taken out of VP? What are we doing about the lack of donations during the events? People are wondering how to get Reward items like warband summons and group cures. I mentioned before, make a small chance that an ez credit can drop during the halloween events and with some steady, dedicated grind... you might get 25 during an event to get something. Multiple events would require getting enough to get a 75+ item.
Maybe I missed the note on the fix for lack of donations for Reward items.

one/Test A - 2 mins
Was going to try for 2 / Test As but somehow I had 3 Test As up... and I lasted 20s. Raid wipe and I zoned back in.. rebuffed and was trying to repop the zone.... but I started to go LD on all toons and now I can't log them back in unless I do the character move to nexus on all 24. I guess I crashed the zone, possibly the server but definitely my desire to continue testing tonight. Will try more testing later this week/weekend.

We still need to do some minor polishing on various things as well as properly balance and test the zone. I will do this myself once it's ready. Great... Sarthin brings his leet-sauce crew and tests.. "Zone is ready!" Mixlor attempts the zone... goes splat on the the first cockroach he encounters... which is not even considered an actual NPC in the zone.. just a zone prop... Hell yeah!!! Bring it on!!! I am ready for dis!!!!!!! *Seriously... I am pumped for Kael Drakkel!! Been a long time coming!*

Summoner Bag Quest Alternative location - Skyshrine

Lies!!!!!
I have been to Yelinak spawn location and swam in both pools on either side of his room.. nothing "behind" him. I even went down to the bottom right of his room and went skinny-dippin in the big square pool of water with not update to the quest.
I think when the server code changed that messed up a lot of stuff (wings, raid exp, etc) at the beginning of the Christmas event also put this part of the quest out of whack. Kael is locked now... so Skyshrine it is.. but the pool or pools are not working as originally intended to chill the Heated Summoner's Pack.
Both Wurwarr and I have been trying to figure this out since we have some toons that need this stage of the Summoner Bag quest.

We, the EZ server community appreciate all you do and can't thank you enough for picking up where Rent left off. If you didnt step up, there would be no T11 nor alot of the fixes that you implemented on our behalf. So I am pretty sure when I say "You aint gotta explain nothing Draca..." the rest of the community stands with me.
Take all the time you need. RL comes first and T11 will happen, when it happens.

This is still an issue with mob aggro in Sleepers that happened after the "oopsie" when adjusting aggro in T11 that affected all zones. Mobs appear to not 'assist' each other if one has aggro and runs by others -not of the same mob type.
My testing:
Entrance hallway, I am able to walk up to the first 2 Iridescent Caretakers and immediately aggro both of them. The next mob is a pestering annoyance, pulling single. The 3rd pull has a Pestering Annoyance and Iridescent Caretaker close to each other but if you pet pull either one, the other does not come to assist because they are not of the same mob type. The 4th pull, I pulled a Pestering Annoyance -again... close to a Iridescent Caretaker and the Caretaker did not aggro but the Pestering picked up another Pestering that was in close proximity as it ran by.
Maybe this is an issue with mobs 'inheriting' aggro from another of a different type as it runs by....?
Please look into this when you can Draca. Most folks just do the Warder grind but for those of us that dont fear a few dirtnaps from time to time... would like to have it back to what is was before your "oopsie"

**Update**
Continued down the hallway into the big room and tried some different mobs there.
Vigilant Custodian + Little Axe Wielder (G). Both aggro'd when one was pet pulled. Ancient Caretaker + Iridescent Caretaker (B). Ancient did not aggro when Iridescent did when walking through doorway and mobs on both sides. Ancient Drakonine + Iridescent Caretaker (G). Both aggro'd when one was pet pulled. Opalescent Sentry + Ancient Drakonine (B). Ancient did not aggro when I pulled the Sentry right by it.
