Zp's make things easier... also it also killed some of the allure of this server. so it's  balance. I understand newer players get frustrated not having them but in reality you wont really get full use out of them until later anyways. IG pets are a huge upgraded and only drop when the event is going on. it's the same type of thing. They are rewards for doing the special events. making them full time would take away from spirit of the event.

Disgusted at the amount of vulgarity in peoples names I keep seeing, I thought this was a family server, I wouldn't let my kids play on here that's for sure, people with SHIT in their surname or something about asian moms, what the actual hell?

I'm sure if your child of age still in innocence would not understand how to actually play on this server in general. By the time you are educated enough to play on this type of server you will have been subjected to far worse content then what is on this server.

Something that needs to be remembered with events is, this is a free server!  Akka and Rent don't get paid to help this server out and it wasn't thier's to begin with.  EZ was started and maintained by Hunter before he died, RIP Hunter.  The vision and desire to play on this server was bound to fade after his untimely demise.  I know it sucks, this server was a home for me, and many others, for many years but its fading and nothing will change that.  No personal issues with Akka or Rent but I can all but guarantee that EZ wasn't even a passing thought through either of thier heads during the holidays, especially with the way the last event went.  There are those condescending "thanks for all you do" posts any time there is an event, but it truly is a thankless no reward volunteer job that understandably no one wants anymore.

I like many others have moved on, if all you depend on is events to play on this server maybe its time you move on too and let this server respectfully fade.

Akka puts in time and so does Rent (on occasion). Everyone who has played on this server with any frequency knows this. Honestly I feel your Ip and account should be banned for being so jaded.

On that note. we aren't guaranteed an event. Akka felt that the people earlier this year ruined the spirit of the event and has not wanted to put it back because of it. I'm sure at some point he will either come up with some new event or fully fix the issues that were brought to light earlier this year.

I have been playing on PEQ for a while and was thinking about starting a crew here just for a change of pace. I had a few questions before I did that if someone has a moment to answer me. I have been browsing the Wiki etc.

1) I already have a RoF2 install for PEQ. Can I just clone that, add the ezserver files and be gtg?
2) I am familiar with MQ2 etc but I was wondering if it was possible (and allowed) to use the e3 macro here? It does make handling bots very easy.
3) I see the advice is to make a group of 6 but some classes just don't seem up to par in the main group. I was thinking WAR CLR BZR MNK ROG DRU?
4) The description for some classes is to 'level with main group' eg SHM for the buff. How will they get xp out of group if the group gets the kill?

1 in theory yes but to reduces crashes and failures you should just get a fresh install
2 no sure what e3 is but full automation is not allowed
3 should be a good setup. a pal over a clr is normal around here
4 no raid exp loss so form a raid

automation is not really allowed on this server

I would like to see that you could not use the UW Until you beat the zone.

awhile back hunter set raid xp to be greater than solo and group xp bonus to support Raid grouping. this seems to have been removed. is this intentional?
