The essence rate from trash was potentially too low. Try a new instance if/when possible.

Noticed on recent DBL Loot Boss's in T! and T2 were dropping 2 patters but always in pairs of the same. Dragon droped as normal.

Double loot not working in any new instance, all zones I have checked. Is it turned off or some kind of error?

I am getting single drops in T3. Also getting plat from corpses. I thought changing to scripted loot switched that to plat bags?

Cleared Anguish and OMM's chests didn't have essence at all. Isn't he supposed be always giving one essence?

This is because we only enacted it for scripted zones. This was my call as I just wanted a temporary  bit of DL to help ease the undoing of the previous day or so of lost time. :-(

Testing moving away from the "guaranteed" model. The upside is now ALL mobs can drop essences (up from the one dog-like mob type alone, or ~33 mobs per Anguish clear). The downside, there is no guaranteed essence per clear.

What is the upside to "scripted" loot?

Double loot on literally at the drop of a hat and it's 100x easier to maintain. I could enable right now, shout "DOUBLE LOOT CREATE INSTANCES" and all instances created at that point would have double loot. No reboot needed. :-)
