Welcome back! hopefully you missed the worst as far as the weather goes. gona be 51 in Laport Indiana tomarrow, but were suppose to be getting 14" of snow tonight in houghton lake MI so?!? FUN FUN FUN..

Well, so much for support your local shops.    Price is about 36% higher, but worse is they said they didnt have what i wanted or anything clsoe and would order it have it in about a week or so .

I apreciate all the feedback guys, i Have been outa the computer scene b4 dualcores came out (bout 5or6 years) and AGP was the best for Grafx cards, so this info has helped ALOT.

I have no real intention of playing any of the new games comming out, so EQ is my old addiction and with eqemu its something i can start and stop if i want. When i did play if your wanted to 2 box you had 2 computers, 3 toons 3 computers. So its kinda nice to be able to go this route.

Now time to go shopping, and though it looks like new eggs is cheaper, i like to support my local comp shops as long as they dont try and shaft me.

So, hi ho hi ho off to the shop i go! 

Ok, with the statement about the video card, what is more importanat with running more instances, IE more toons with EQ. More HP ie proccesor, more ram, or a high end better video card?

What is the video card your running on the machine your using right now?

OK, As the title says, I'm looking for what harware/software that people are USEING to box.

I was reading the Video card problem thread and it had some good info but not enough to answer my question. I have read over at The MMO boards but there were to many games to stsytem specs,  so i figures id ask here what people are ACTUALLY using that works.

I need a new machine as mine died a while ago and playing on a ol E-machine isnt cutting it past 3 toon's. So, What I'm looking for is what are your machines specs: procesor, Ram, video card and your OS. and How Many toons are you running. I see most of the guys pushing T5 are all running a solid 6 and there are some that are pushing 12 (2 groups).

And Thanks in advance for taking to the time to answer..  Daddy wants to go shopping..

Have you tried removing the card from the Motherboard. reboting the system, shutting down, then reistalling the card into the mother board and restaring? if not do so and see, if it then (the device manager) see's the card.

Last one was christamas weekend. one befor that was thanksgiving weekend. I dont know prior to that , because i just started in mid november.

Well, i guess ill be the odd ball on this. Ive geared my toons as well as guildies thru T1 and T2 and have seen a total of 11 minors and ZERO majors.

But i have been the odd one a lot so,

Ok, not to endorse or seek out anything wrong or improper to do (especially on my first post and all) but what does NINJA LOGGING mean exactly?

Not new to eq, quit just after the shipbuilders moved in off my ol home of paineel, but i like the server content here. Though i have gotquite the odd look when i turn down the offer to PL my way to 70. Guess end contnent and actually doing some of the quests myself vs buying my way in is more enjoyable.

Actually turned on my AA to spend a litle more time in dulak to give my regards to the shippbuilders just that little bit more
