I just started and am wondering when my war epic's will proc? My son make a SK and his epic started proccing at 20, I am 29 and mine still dont.

Also, imagine my suprise when some nice guy last night told me to use ALT-C, I has been autoattacking through 28 levels Smiley

Should I be using 1H, two 1H, 1H with shield?

TIA.

As a warrior, double 1handers.

Just remember to do your epic 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0/3.5/4.0/4.5/5.0 at least twice. If not four times like many lazy warriors like to say.

To know when any weapon procs you can usually scroll down to the spell effect and it will tell you.

Sk is level 1
Paly is level 10

Many classes are 50 ish.

They don't all start at the same time. When you are high enough level your weaps will proc.

I made a SK, the fact that their 100 DD epic proc starts working at lvl 1 is the most unbalanced thing ever LOL.

My 22 SK can solo where my 29 mage dies frequently.

Thanks for the information, I guess I just have to tough it out until 50 when the warriors procs start to work to see if the warrior is for me longterm.

I find the SK far more fun to play than Warrior, and have not found a situation that I can't tank on the server.

The most important thing, no matter what class you choose, is that you have fun.

The Pally epic proc is also 100 damage, and unlike the SK proc, it doesn't heal just the Paladin, it heals the whole group. A Warrior is a fantastic take once you start getting into the tiers, and they are the only class who can use Anger Augs ( 1k AE for V or 1500 DD for IV). If you guys are looking to go as far as possible on just 2 toons, War / Pally are your best options. War for tankage and damage, Pally for heals / damage and offtank.  Those 2 classes alone will easily take you all the way into your 3.0s and the beginnings of the Plane of Dragons ( T1 ).

Regarding the paladin epic proc, if I add an aug with a dd or lifetap proc to the weapon, would that in any way reduce the number of epic procs I get?

(Edit: sorry, I found this thread by the Search function, didn't realise when I posted  this was in the warrior forum)

An extra aug with a proc will not effect the healing proc that the epic already has.  Same as running your casted self only proc buff ( Pious Fury ). If you watch your damage window while attacking, or go back to it after a fight is over, you can actually see that only 1 swing of your weapon can, infact, set off both procs.  Increasing that number even further does not interupt it.  A 4.0 Paladin will typically have 3 FS V's on, Plus Epic Proc, Plus Self Buff Proc for a grand total of 5.  1 swing can set off all 5, unlikely, but poissible since none of them "Block" another one from going off.
