How about chanters having the ability to boost potency of other caster class spells/pets etc, in addition to their ability of increasing melee damage (haste). That would give them more utility.

I don't think you have to worry about Hunter stopping, considering this is a good cash cow. We are providing him with as much of a service (some might say service that really counts $) as he is providing us. Just pointing that out.

For survivability 1.5 pet is better, though true you are losing some dps it's heal proc isn't bad for a 1.5 and if you have him use a pallys defender he procs with that weapon as well. IMO from my exp 1.5 is better. The order goes 3.0>2.5>2.0>CG pet>1.5>spell pet.

Personally I think if someone has already engaged  any of the bosses then the rest are off limits. That being said, sometimes mistakes are made that aren't intentional. I remember once I did the same thing as Mayo out of ignorance of the unspoken rule, and the guy kindly asked me to stop. After asking why and him explaining the rule, I did not to loot the mob and apologized for simply not knowing. He then offered me any plate that dropped anyway(which is what I needed) and we became friends after that.

Reading Mayo comments on the full account of the story I don't think he did anything wrong. His personal opinion is just that, an opinion and holds no baring on what actually transpired because both parties came to a solution.

I think necro's 3.0 pet heals for 1k proc, and with oracle 2k but I'm not too sure. My necro has about 30k health and each click with focus lev 2(lev 11) oracle heals about 3-4% of my health. But he procs very often. Hope that helps.

What's your necro's name? If I'm on I'll look you up and help you get your 1.5. You need Potime gear, but when it comes to pet classes the best upgrade is a pet upgrade.

Yeah when I first tried tacking on qvic solo I had a special method. Basically because my comp sucked I could only duel box it so I would start attacking it with my main for a few secs trying to get aggro, then have my alt attack(2.0 2.5 isn't special). Now I always have three macros <hidec looted>, <hidec None> and <hidec all>. My alt not being very uber would stick to attacking the boss and wouldn't spawn that many adds, while my main would switch off to adds and try and mow them down fast. Now the key for me at least was clicking <hidec all> as soon as the add died. This would erase corpses and allowed me to quickly join in on the attack on the boss, after adds would drop.

 To make my point I'm a pally with at the time 50k hp and had only a taunt button lol. It was rare that my alt would die, cause believe it or not, attacking a mob first and hitting taunt goes a long way. But I wouldn't have been able to do it without hidec all. When the fight was ending I looted corpses with alt, and if it was something my main needed(which was like never) I would simply click hidec none and it would reeappear.

Pallys are far from gimp. My pally is now my main and I can solo with 60k hp all the way up to t1 minis. About the only other class that can solo better is maybe SK's and Sk's don't come close to group usefulness that a pally has. Pally's overall is probably top 3 classes in the game imo.

How did you get 6k aoe clicky damage? I must be a noob with my zerker because my aoe clicky does 2400 damage and 3700 damage with sorc charm level 1. Is it a disc that I'm not using? Also, imo brawler is worth more because of haste than sorc with aoe damage, but you must pick one or the other, can't have your cake an eat it too. And going on the subject of aoe damage, once you get into the tier content, you are mostly single mobbing even trash so AOE damage becomes pretty much useless. Clicking the epic also puts a slight delay on your DPS so the extra 2400 damage isn't worth the normal 3500 damage without the delay with brawler. Again maybe I'm not playing the class right but this seems to be the case from my experience and if you have any pointers or tips I would appreciate it if you share it, cause honestly I tried pretty much everything to my knowledge.
