I personally find it annoying when windows piles all the everquest icons on top of each other on the task bar.

So I assign a different icon to each character so that they stay separated on the task bar and I can quickly identify who is whom.

I have heard a few people talk about the same issue in ooc, so I thought I would share some icons I have made.

All of these are from pictures I found on google images, I did not create any of them.  I have left the filenames as I found them to give create where credit is due.

This is how my taskbar looks with some of them loaded in.  There are 91 icons in the icon pack.
Do not let the size in the example picture fool you.  Almost all of them are extremely large and high res.

I see a darksouls 3 weapon in there

Yeah.... all I did was googled some stuff I thought would make good icons, downloaded the pictures from google images and converted them to icons in gimp.

Like I said, I kept the filename of the picture so credit would go where credit is due, you can probably google the file name and find the same image, and then click visit site and see where it came from.

Just trying to make eq play a little easier hehe.

How would you make these icons on the taskbar?  right now I have all the 3 (blue,red,yellow) WINEQ things up.....

I thought I was the only one who did this heh - except my icons are dumb stars and shit just so I know who's who.

You create a shortcut to eqgame.exe for each character.
You name each of the shortcuts something different, (I put them all in a folder on the desktop)
Then right click and go under properties.
The target line should read like so.
D:\eqrof2folder\eqgame.exe /login:account eqgame.exe patchme /login:stationname
Then while you are there, click Change Icon, browse, then navigate to where your .ico files are and select one.

The next time you run that shortcut it will appear on the taskbar with the new icon.

sometimes for some of the guides i wish we got an video for it ... ( Autologin , Sticky Client and this one here with multi client icons would be awesome ) sometimes when i try one of choose it feel more like an multiplechoice test

Did all this, but the icons are not persistent onto the taskbar. Just shows the same old EQ icon for all of them, but displays the new icon for all my character links within their folder.

Icons are important

Very awesome! All these years i have used mq2autologin and never thought to do this. I have just always logged my bots in the same order and remembered that way which was which. ::)  /bonks self This is much better!  Thankyou!
