I'm new on the EZ-SERVER. I've started before on another server where no other people was playing (I figered it only out later... Now I want to start in GLOOMINGDEEP, so called the tutorial of EQ, but when I create here an new char, it's launched diretely in the 'Surefall glade'. Can anyone help me how starting in the mines of gloomingdeep ? As far as I know there isn't a way to start in the tutorial zone here. There is a complete set of leveling zones set up for a new user here. To start, talk to the gnome on the docks near the epic vendor. While you're there, you may as well pick up whichever epic is appropriate for your class from the epic vendor, and whatever other supplies you need from the newbie vendor next to him. Explore Surefall a bit. There is a NPC to help you with scribing spells and disciplines, a buff bot, and teleporter NPCs to help you get around. You might want to kill a few bears or fish in Surefall before you set out to the first quest zone. They are a great source of gear and experience when you're just starting. Good luck. In the meantime I talked to the gnome to do a first mission and was teleported to the field of bone 'killing fields). I should find an item for the gnome, but I searched everywhere and can't find anything !! Can you help me ? And when I found the item, how can I go back to Surefall glade ?
