Title: Steam SOD Post by: Vadeem on October 04, 2010, 03:11:42 pm I see in older posts here and on the EQ EMU boards that Steam changed their SOD client a while ago and that while it works, it isn't recommended. I didn't see this until after I started using it. Most of the posts I've found on this topic are several months old.
I am experiencing some of the bugs noted inlcuding buff icon issues and Alternate Advancement problems. Is there a solution or do I need to load a different client? If there is a solution, I noticed instructions to log into the PEQ server and follow some setinfo instructions. Do I still need to do that? Again the instructions are from a while back. Title: Re: Steam SOD Post by: Simp on October 04, 2010, 04:46:56 pm You can load into game and I have not physically tested anything short of loading in and not seeing any buff icons and getting shot across a zone or in the air when hailing a buff bot.
As it stands now Underfoot is not supported by EQEMU as of yet. Title: Re: Steam SOD Post by: Vadeem on October 05, 2010, 09:04:49 am Going to load SOF as soon as it comes in the next day or two. I can't get tracking to work either and suspect Steam SOD may be the cause.
