             Rules are there for a reason. Hunter already said he didn't want to deal with this childish BS but it keeps coming. So the ban hammer will keep falling. Sorry that you lost your account but hey look at it as a learning experience. If you want to act like your 12 go play somewhere else like free WoW.   :'(

        Well good sir its about reading the rules not if its funny or not. Hunter owns this server not you , not congress, and not god. If he doesn't want to put up with it then you get the ban hammer. Try reading over the server rules before playing. I know its very hard to take a few mins when you make a toon to click on the link in the pop up hunter took all the time in making when you zone into surefall glade. But hey look at it this way those few mins would of saved your account.  ;D


       Just be happy he doesn't ban your ip.

I have just fallen in love with this server officially. I freaking hated it when these twelve year olds came on to project 1999 and had these stupid, immature names. The server admins didn't really give a shit about it. Sure it was in the rules but people still did it. Props to hunter for taking the proper course of action even though he is already swamped with a million other things.

That being said, suprise! Read the rules!

Sense of humor ran out after its been done many times, and now its getting old. Tired of people pushing limits, or not reading the rules. I don't have time for debates. The account is banned. Next offense is all boxes + IP ban.

I see tons of sexual, lude or vulgar remarks in /ooc all the time.  I occasionally play with my kids on this server and thankfully they don't read the chat but it's only a matter of time.  And unfortunately some of it is by some of the more well-known characters on the server.  It's like /ooc has become their personal "chat channel" and it can get quite vulgar and offensive at times.

Should I be taking screenshots and posting them for bans?  Is a screenshot of the chat channel enough for a ban?

Take a full screenshot with date/time in the text. Videos are better chance for 100% ban.

As a secondary option, you could have sent him to CShome and re-labeled it "EZ SERVER JAIL".

Would have made the name even more gloriously ironic.

Moriah, if you are serious about taking on the roll of OOC Police (no offense intended) then I suggest you fraps conversations.  As you can see below, SSs can be manipulated.

Put CSHome full of 100mill hp 100 dps rats, and have offenders be bound there in a death loop for a week.
Disable all their other accounts, so they can have the choice of either being slowly eaten away by rats or not playing at all.

Of course, if I ever do run a server it would be entirely evil.

On a slightly related note, can we get a script put in where, if P1999 goes down, no new characters can be made on EZ?

Well, P1999 DID go down for a while earlier in the week, so....

Yet another reason why we need a public gallows or something.. An EZ Server Jail..

Think of the tagline:

dunno if its Possible to setup a #report playername but once the player recives 20 votes the player is ported to a zone with no exit (have to figure out something where charms/spells dont work there)


I say 20 because most people here have at lest 6 chars of there own 12 wouldn't be a stretch, And I would hope that none of the guilds would abuse this aginst another player due to a Big hammer we like to call it the "Ban hammer"

Hey I know its the rule and all, but I don't agree with it and how it applies to naming your char.

Turn PC names off if names like this offend you and you don't like seeing them.

The reason I don't understand the rule is due to the fact that we have the option to turn PC names off.  If we didn't have that option, then I would totally agree with having that rule.

But hey, its Hunters server, and if those are the rule's... them's the rule's!

Should I also disable all chat channels and filter say to a window I can't see so I don't accidentally get offended by an idiot?

All games have rules for naming.  They aren't hard to follow.

You don't have to, the badword filter is already turned on by default.

badword filter doesn't filter playernames though

And it doesn't filter all the ways people use to get around it.

Surely people can expand their vocabulary and find other ways to say things.
