Title: Zone Crashes
Post by: Hunter on April 12, 2010, 12:01:27 am
My entire weekend was devoted to the new server hardware, and with Secrets help, we got it up and running.

During the install / setup of the new hardware, I set temp Secrets to a GM during a train / crash zone test that involved about 783 mobs in sseru that all died in about 8 AoE that I casted, and the zone never crashed. The new hardware is working great!

There was some testing for zone crashing and we found a few zones with zone_flags in the database that crashed the zone. This has been fixed, again, thanks to Secrets.

I'm aware of some bottle necks, such as for the Epics. I will fix this soon as I can by reducing respawn time and possible instanced 2.5 zone.

I have not had time to do any work on our custom content this weekend due to setting up new hardware. Saturday Nights are my only night off from work, so I'll be working on our content again by Saturday at latest, with small updates during the week.

Again, thanks Secrets for all your help!
