Well i made a ranger to try it out.
So far I love it... i like it better than my rogue or my warrior.

Its my first time playing a ranger so here comes stupid questions...

1. I have seen rangers multi-crit 8k shots... how the hell can I accomplish that? Epic 3.0?  

2. What are the epics 1.5 and up? Bows or swords?

3. What bow should I use? Now I have Bow of Flames from Dulak. Looks pretty damn good but what else is out there?

4. What about arrows? Should I start fletching or simple arrows are fine?

5. Is there a AA or a skill that will actually shoot multiple arrows at once? or point blank shooting?

It's a combination of Epic 3.0 bow, augments, arrow from Tacvi and Sureshot Disc. that gets those really high crit numbers.

All ranger epics prior to 3.0 are swords.  3.0 default is a sword as well, but you can hand the sword to the epic vendor and he'll replace it with the bow.

After dulak I think there is a bow that drops in BoThunder tho I don't recall the name.  You'll also get a decent one from the Named in Qvic when you start in that zone.  I don't recall if any Time bosses drop a bow, but I'm fairly sure than no LDoN bosses drop one.

Arrows aren't a huge issue until you have the 3.0, but that's up to you.  You can buy Flame Tipped Acrylia from the vendors.  Eventually you'll want to farm Tacvi until you get the arrow to drop off boss 8.  Get the endless quiver AA and you'll have that arrow forever.  You'll also want to get the fleeting quiver from the same boss for Bow Haste

No point blank shooting that I'm aware of.  I do get double shot pretty consistenly with my ranger, but I don't know if it's an AA or an effect from my 3.0

What do you need to hit the 8350 dmg crits?  I'm maxed at 8156 with 3.0 epic, tacvi arrow, fleeting quiver, mossy aug 5 on bow
Eagle eye, call of lighting, strength of hunter howl of the predator are all on, have 2041atk

Need more Jiggawatts to get the added DMG

Im in almost full T3 with tacvi arrow/3.0x3 full augs and still haven't gone over 8156 without trueshot.  Would love to know how ur doin that reed since all 8 of the rangers we run do the same dmg and no one has broke 8156 w/o discs

I dont have my own ranger, just play someone else's atm.

TBH i havent watched how much DMG i do normally, i keep it all in boxes minimized

is the melee dmg disp for ranger bugged? call warder or somthing like that?

My Ranja fully buffed from FG is doing about 8900s.  3.0 Bow, Tacvi Arrow, mostly T1 Gear/Tacvi, also Mossy V on bow (was doing 8300s prior to Mossy V).

Once i pop trueshot 16000+ crits

What's your ATK and what buffs do you have on?

8156 here without the 5% extra damage buff

problem solved then?

eisengaurd is saying he hits 8900 though.  not sure what buffs do that.
