Can we please have the charm component removed from LDONs?

Yeah ummm. seems kinda odd for a fully geared warrior to get charmed in LDON 3. For me its just an inconvenience where I have to wait a short time before resuming control of my toon - but if another group happens to be in the area this means any mobs I was fighting will walk back and possibly aggro them. I'm thinking that if I bust ramp on some LDON geared group it won't be good either.

I was playing Tosser the other day and was charmed in LDoN 3 as well, ended up killing the entire group of people i was trying to help (get pages for folks, ya know).
I laughed and was kinda like "uhh...wtf?" i mean, those kinda resists and i still get charmed? kinda off the wall

Got the same think yesterday in Ldon 3.

but nobody die, was chain healing with cleric.

What charm component? If its in there, then must not have been working on our old PC but is now working on our new PC. Please explain. NPC using a spell to charm players? Which NPC?

Yeah, im nor sure which mob exactly has the charm proc/ spell. What happens though, is i personally will run through and get a few mobs. I have only been charmed once, but it was comedy. I had about 5 mobs and one of them ended up charming me, so i murdered my group. Not a huge issue. just rezzed group and ran to gatekeeper while snickering.

When i get some time i plan on going back and FRAPSing it. If i can repeat it and record it, maybe it'll give Hunter better insight.

If i remember well i was at Ldon 3 between the first stair (not far of end zone, there is some black gollem in stone) that you have to go up and the  last room just before spiral stair.

I remember where i was but dont pay attention on mob that charmed me. I will go back get you the loc if you want

I've run into 2 of the mobs, one is in one of the side rooms on the spiral-staircase, other is two rooms before the stairs.
It's the sand-people mobs. I think they are called subduers...

Yeah, i think those are it. My spell spam is way to much to actually read it.
I see a blur of "Mob X begins to cast..." and "You Resist Spell Y"... til BAM you're walking around with one of the sand folks like he's your BFF

ldon 3, the master flowkeeper i think is her name she is always charming my Bst

Yea, Flowkeepers in level 3. I got charmed on my warrior and absolutely destroyed my alts in about 3 seconds. Oops. And then I ended up walking through the wall to follow it back to spawn, obviously getting stuck int he process.

The mobs in question are 'a master flowkeeper' which are enchanter mobs. There are only 2 of them in LDON 3. Can't view the spell effect in question as I'm unable to right click the buff icon while charmed.

It's interesting to note that once this mob charms you, you'll walk thru the wall to return to 'a master flowkeeper' spawnpoint just as if you were an NPC pet.

Its any enchanter mob in any of the LDONs. In LDON3 its the Master Flowkeepers. I have also seen the mobs in ToV also trying to charm as well (but is resisted).

Over this past week I've ran into a few mobs that Charm as well.  Its always in a group of mobs though, so I can never figure out exactly which one did it.

The first and second time this happened was in MistMoore castle when I was doing some ROA for my warrior.

The 3rd time this happened was in LDON 5 while killing a small group of random mobs.

Earlier today I had this happen again while doing ROA for my warrior in PoNightmare.  Again, it was a random trash mob that charmed me, I was unable to figure out which one.

"a master flowkeeper" in LDON 3 still charms.  This mob has charmed me on multiple occasions, and did it again today.  It is devastating to a pet class.

Its been mentioned before

I've seen 2 spawns of that mob in ldon 3 1 at the stairs in the side as you are almost to the petrified tree and one thats hidden just inside a door in ldon 3. Not sure if others noticed the second one or not as you can get past it and many run past it without realizing it lol I have seen a few groups wiped by the one hidden just inside the door way >_<

they're a pain for sure. you end up getting charmed and hack down your whole group down lol.

yeah i was doing ldon and a person boxing kept running ahead killing mobs ahead of me forcing me to do the same. We got to that room and the person got upset with me that while i was playing and killing my mobs they got charmed and wiped out their group. they believed i should have been watching their every move and known they were charmed. I had no idea what was going on untill i noticed i was being attacked by the other player (i was ahead of them starting up the small set of stairs) >_< but by then it was to late they had already wiped out their 2 boxed toons.

I could only imagine what that would be like...

lol i got lucky they got uncharmed right as they were attacking me. Then said "i should of just killed you!!!" i was like "what?" they said "didn't you see i was charmed?" Then "why didn't you help?" I said i am sorry i did not see and did not notice anything untill you started to attack me >_< And from there it went down hill lol

No mobs can be charmed on this server. There are several more up to date posts on this issue.
