I've updated the Arena for the upcoming PvP event this Christmas.

Not allow above level 1.
Not allow AA points.
Not allow non-Gnome races.
Not allow banker to be summoned.
Not allow bind.
Not allow levitate.
Not allow buffs.
Not allow high level pets.
Not allow hail pets for buffs.

When zoning in, you'll go through some checks:
If your higher than level 1, or gain a level some how in the arena, then you get booted from zone.
Wearing items, or having any items/bags in any slots, or items on cursor will get you booted from zone.

If you get booted, then you should get a client error message saying why you were booted (level / items).

If your allowed in the zone after the checks, then it removes any pets, debuffs all your buffs, and sets your melee and casting skills to 0.

Then you'll be summoned to your cursor a variety of noobie weapons to choose from, and a stack of food/drink.

Everyone that zones in will have a date/time stamp with their name/level/race/class emoted to the local zone that you entered the zone so everyone knows when a legit player enters the zone.

Let me know if I missed anything. I'm trying to make this event fair.

I would advise a naming requirement for the level 1 toons to be that of the main toon they want the reward on + 3 random characters added to their name to be announced 1 hour before the event starts.

I should be home Friday night, maybe into Saturday night, if need to add or fix anything in this script.

I should hold a video contest, for best footage of this gnome pvp lol. Maybe 100 credits for the EZ_Store for 1st place? Unlimited video submissions are allowed, but only 1 key will be given out to best winner. Vote yes?

May be worth finding if Forbidden Prophecy wants to limit it to one or two characters from a given IP address in the zone. 

If we have learned anything from EZ it is that some players have 20+ characters they box that amazingly all do the same thing at the same time.  Might be hard to defend against 20 heat seeking warrior missiles.

Anyone caught cheating will be disqualified, I myself am not entering it, but will be there to make a video of it so we will know anyone who tries to put together anything sketchy.

i dont wanna be Debbie Downer here but can the other 90% of the server who could care less about an FG set get something for Christmas too?

Try reading up on all of the post about the events, as this is only one of the events going on for xmas.

Majority of people wanted double drop.

Can't argue with the facts.  Turkey Day was suppose to be 2x loot and was changed at the last moment.  Can you really fault a guy for asking if that is still the plan, considering tomorrow is X-mas eve?

Hey I've had a really really bad last couple of days and I'm down but not going to let it ruin my Christmas.  I'm gonna rock the house in T4 hopefully can get some rots to call out. That is if I can farm rnough stones fast enough lol.

Are we doing a last man standing? I could make a "Control NPC" that we hail to "lock" the zone or prevent anyone from zoning or re-zoning in after the event has started to see who last man in zone is.

Hands up to FP! Is that haste screw up fixed though? Just curious.

Yes the event is supose to be the last man standing = winner.
