My uncle is severely mentally handicapped and lives with my family, we take care of him. He has the mind of a 3 year old. If you ask him how old he is, he will say 4. He is also physically handicapped, he has cerebral palsy and other physical handicaps. I am very protective of my uncle though I don't go out of my way to announce that or project it to others. That being said, I would be upset if someone called my uncle a retard, not someone calling someone else a retard or saying they were mentally handicapped. Quite frankly, I think someone who takes offense to it is generally just looking for something to get offensive about or looking for a way to show their sensitivity, (ie. ninny bitch). IMO if you are in one of the paid instances and you are alone - AND you keep checking /who every few mins to make sure you are alone - don't see anything wrong with training.. In fact I suggest the rule be changed so that ie the 2k instance is a "trains ok" zone, and the other 2 (pub and 1k) are off limits/reserved for people progressing legitimately in LDON/doing 2.0/etc. Title: Re: and the retard award goes too..
