I just did some parsage on pet classes 4.0 pets. Enchanter 4.0 still tops the list with the leet 9k dps! Mage 4.0 is second in line with 25k dps And necro 4.0... well... Uh... 50k dps. Of which 40k dps is lifetaps. (These are all charmless, augless pets, with all applicable self buffs and enchanter 3.0 haste) I dont have access to beastlord 4.0, but I've been having great fun asking stuck up 4.0 "I R SO LEET" warriors to duel my pet. Killed a 120k war in 10 seconds flat. The real question I wonder is now, does oracle affect the heal of the pet? If so, that needs to change, because that would mean Necro 4.0 with UC or 50 oracle could solo t3/t4 content (pet proccing a 150k heal basically every 0.75 seconds, going on the 40k/25k ratio). The 120k was more of a ballpark figure, from what I assume he at least had, being full t2 and whatnot. Also - Soloing HoH is great! Pet killed avatar of earth and two ents all by himself. Also, Necros are intended to be able to solo their own stuff throughout the game. The DPS they pull is going to be less than a regular DPS class by a good margin, so putting one in the group especially since their group functionality now is absolutely zero outside of DPS means they need huge boosts for soloing, which is what they got.
