Are old mobs like King Tormax and the dragons in ToV on the same timer as live or do they reset every morning when the server resets?  Because I play in the evenings and they are always down so I'm not sure if I am just not catching them up or they spawn every morning and everyone has like 15 hours to get to them before I do.

They don't reset every day.  Their schedule is most likely similar to live, although I do not know exactly what it is.  I've only caught them up a few times since many people hunt them for ROA gear or just cause they need to die.

I've killed every dragon in ToV (except Vulak, not sure if his spawn works) but never seen Tormax or AoW up.  Note you can buy a guild instance of ToV .. lol

Vulak is always up here, well unless killed, dont need to do the cycle to trigger him and sadly he doesnt summon the rest of the dragons if killed first =/

guild instance eh.  I'm not that familiar with guild instances, does that mean they will all be up in it or is it just a copy of the current zone with current spawns up that only my guild can enter?

Hmm, I've never seen Vulak up.

A guild/group instance is a copy of the zone that only your guild/group can enter.  When you first purchase it, all the mobs will be spawned unless they are something with a placeholder or some delayed spawn.  Once you kill them they follow the same rules for respawning as they would in the public zone.

Never seen Vulak, don't know if all mobs spawn in ToV instance.  They might not.  Isn't it 100k?  Don't think I'll be trying to find out heh.

Done a ton of ToV clears for RoA, so yeah, can tell that Vulak will be immediately up in the guild instance. Also, the Doze-tear-quests in west wing work too - just needed very high faction for em. =p

What would be worth farming ToV for RoA instead of doing the Crafter Guild armor?

I've checked every day for the past month for Avatar of War and he is never up. I am familiar with how he is spawned, but his trigger mob is never there to spawn Idol. Either he is on Live timers and someone has him timed, or I just have horrible luck.

Nostalgia, or did it before Crafter's Guild was added. =X

And I think AoW died just yesterday, forgot what time tho.

Well I checked last night and it is 10k for the guild instance, but then I was just sitting here at work and thinking, I am not in a guild, lol.  Can you open a guild instance without being in a guild or do I have to join one or make up my own?  Actually in all the years I played on live I never had my own guild so I'm not even sure how to make one anyhow.

Just join the Fighters/Casters Guild by talking to the FG/CG quest dudes.

The only problem with that is basically anyone can join those (once they finish quest) and hop into your instance.


Please correct me if you can't make a GI by joining the FG/CG.

I just did it for fun, the loot was a bonus.  It's mostly accesory slots, ears neck etc, I use the Dulak set for the rest.   Not to mention it's about a million times easier to get than the mats for crafted stuff...
