Title: Solo Progression Advice Post by: Temuli on April 21, 2011, 06:17:16 pm Hi there, brand new to the game - 2 days in. I made a warrior and read as much as I could on these forums and the wiki.
My question is, out of the following goals, what would be a sensible order to try to achieve them? Hit L70 Collect AAs (500? 1000?) FG quest Ring of Ages (part way?/ up to 100?) 1.5/2.0 etc Upgrade the newbie charm#2 (via LDoN drops iirc) Add a cleric 2nd box Anything else important which I should do along the way Thank you! Title: Re: Solo Progression Advice Post by: Dethundrel on April 21, 2011, 07:38:59 pm If you plan to go 100% solo, as a Warrior, you will never make it. You NEED either friends, or to Box. A cleric box isn't a bad idea, but a Pally would suit you MUCH better. Paladin's proc a group heal off their epics along with a good amount of added DPS, and up till at least Qvic, 1 War + 1 Pally will get you through everything you need to do, including Epic 1.5's. Epic 2.0's will need some assistance, but a simple /ooc will usually find a willing hand very qickly.

Any thoughts about my list priority - e.g. are AAs and RoA necessary steps before I try to tackle LDoN or 1.5 etc?
Title: Re: Solo Progression Advice Post by: funkinmofo on April 22, 2011, 05:57:01 am Focus on levelling your toons to 70, then focus on epic 1.5-2.0 (farm plat to pay for runs or find people willing to help. Ask nicely in OOC). Gear up as needed in potimea before heading into Ldon. Try finding friends for when you are ready to tackle Qvic as an undergeared duo isn't going to yield the best results. Don't farm all your AA, they will come fast enough as you progress and grind for gear. It is a wonderful item, but for someone without a power level team it will eat up a ton of your time. Focus on getting your epics and getting gear first, then worry about RoA and charms.
