Title: Angry kid threatens to get me banned
Post by: Gallus85 on June 11, 2011, 02:23:13 am
So I offer to buy a paladin T2 bp, and guy says 50k,  I say it's gunna rot, I offer 15k, he says 30k.  I pick up BP, and pay the guy 30k, and then I start getting spammed with non-sense from some noob saying I looted his BP and I stole it and he's gunna get me banned RAWR!!!

Well, here is Pic for the record.  Me, buying it for 30k, and text of the guy saying he'd sell to me.

GG.

Is there any recourse if you did get banned totally on the angry kids report? I don't know if banning is done that way or not. I've killed mobs and when I went to loot it, I looted mob with same name, but it wasn't the one I killed. It must have been under it or something. I would hate to get reported for looting somebody else's mob like that and get the boot with no warning or notice, or even a path to explain my side.

People should create an instance if they don't want to risk loosing something they don't loot. Not once in an instance I created has anybody come by and ninja loot my kills.

Well, I suppose my question was more in general to the process of not getting banned than a question to the post from last year :)

I don't think we have any history of seeing people banned for honest mistakes, though there may be instances where people claim such. Hunter requires evidence before banning people. I wouldn't worry if I were you, as long as you are decent to people and do not create a pattern of profitable 'mistakes.'
