Title: Source Update 10/21/11 Post by: Hunter on October 21, 2011, 07:59:34 pm Going to try to update the source code today.
As always, you can see what is updated and new by going to http://projecteqemu.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/EQEmuServer/changelog.txt (http://projecteqemu.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/EQEmuServer/changelog.txt) When viewing the changes, to the left of each change is the name of the person that did the update. I don't work on the source code. I just download and compile it. What I work on are the custom items (database) and custom quest (perl) for our server. Hoping this update will fix crashes. Will have to wait and see what people say after trying out some high end zones. Planning to work on the Halloween Event this weekend, and release it the next weekend after. Title: Re: Source Update 10/21/11 Post by: Hunter on October 21, 2011, 09:10:43 pm New source code is up. Let me know if zone crashes are fixed or seem less frequent.
The anti train rule has always been 10 mobs. There is available code to monitor that now, but I haven't used it yet. Keep me posted if anything else seems broken or needs fixing. I'll be online this weekend keeping eye out, and working on new content for Halloween. Hunter Title: Re: Source Update 10/21/11 Post by: Xiggie | Stone on October 22, 2011, 01:21:17 am Well, we just had about 34 toons up in PoAir and killed prolly 40+ various mobs. Had kraken going, procs like crazy and the zone did not crash. Hell we were trying to crash the zone and couldn't do it. This is good good news.

Title: Re: Source Update 10/21/11 Post by: Ponzi on October 22, 2011, 05:11:49 am Team Strix had anywhere from 9-14 up there at once spamming t3/t4 bosses tonight and zone was incredibly stable. :) Looks great so far.
Title: Re: Source Update 10/21/11 Post by: lerxst2112 on October 22, 2011, 05:22:05 am I'm interested to know how the memory usage looks for airplane. The screenshot posted on the emu board, which I assume was a before shot, looked pretty grim. I honestly did not think that one little leak would add up so much. Title: Re: Source Update 10/21/11 Post by: Hunter on October 22, 2011, 06:43:17 am Yeah, it was a "before" pic.
Title: Re: Source Update 10/21/11 Post by: L0stman on October 22, 2011, 07:54:21 am Interesting enough, I have 18 toons in HoH and I am not seeing any client sync issues yet either. By the fourth mob, I would normally have 3-4 toons de-synced. Will update if I see a desync... killed ~20 so far.
UPDATE: Been 2 hours in HoH without a single desync. I have no idea how this change fixed the desync issue but I am definitely not complaining. Thanks Lerx! Title: Re: Source Update 10/21/11 Post by: Hunter on October 22, 2011, 11:03:09 am MEMORY USED FOR EACH ZONE BEFORE SOURCE CODE UPDATE

Title: Re: Source Update 10/21/11 Post by: walk2k on October 22, 2011, 04:41:54 pm melee crits are showing for me now even though I have them turned off in the filters (SoD client).

Title: Re: Source Update 10/21/11 Post by: Secrets on October 24, 2011, 02:13:36 pm melee crits are showing for me now even though I have them turned off in the filters (SoD client). something bugged on the filters? Same here also - in all zones. This was fixed in a recent update by sorvani. PS: hi EZ!! Title: Re: Source Update 10/21/11 Post by: Xiggie | Stone on October 24, 2011, 03:33:03 pm I figured that fix would come by pretty quick. Seems like it is probably just a very simple code error.
Title: Re: Source Update 10/21/11 Post by: Hunter on October 24, 2011, 03:49:12 pm There is a fix already for it, but I just need to download and compile the source code when I get some time. I plan to do it before the Halloween Event, to fix Crit Spam Filter.
Title: Re: Source Update 10/21/11 Post by: Xiggie | Stone on October 24, 2011, 03:55:32 pm Thanks Hunter. I think people under estimate how much that helps.
