Can we have the respawn timer changed to 1 hour on VP,Skyshrine, Kael and ToV bosses?

Alot of good gear from there for RoAing.

Much agreed. Is Zlandicar the same story? Checked him a few days and he was never up.
Most of it. They have tons of HPs, and some of the dragons can charm and have wicked AOE gravity flux DDs and whatnot.

Also, Vulak event does not work.  Also, anyone know which velious quests are ingame?  Dozekar or tormax quests ?

So you want to go solo in temple of veeshan....when better items x10 drop in custom zones and its 10x easier...you will get destroyed in temple of veeshan without decent gear and get crap items IF you can even kill anything......so ill say it again...god only knows why you need gear from there for RoAing...or even from temple of veeshan in general.

Its a huge waste of time...this is EZ server...its very easy, dulak is lvl 30+ zone drops gear with 10 all stats...+100hp/mana or more...and you wanna fight in temple of veeshan where the best item is like +7 to 2 stats and +50-75 mana tops and 10x harder lol...trust me you are wasting your time in temple of veeshan

to think of it again and he is right... ToV was nice on live at that point in history lol... but dulak loot is better than ToV.

Though its nice to go revisit old content.. maybe not for loot...  Go to Veeshan's Peak instead... crappy loot now but fun zone

Karbuk, my response about the people who can't  / don't multibox was not about ToV specifically, but about your comment about needing gear for ROA'ing.

To be honest, I did not know that the stuff from Dulak was better than ToV, thank you for informing me of that.
I will get my chars a full set of gear from Dulak for ROA purposes.

My initial post about it being soloable was in response to Supreme's post about the gear from there, Kael etc being good for ROA'ing.

My post still holds true though.   Having gear for ROA'ing (whether it be from ToV, Dulak or whereever) will make it easier than fighting naked if you don't have the ability to multibox. 
Yes, this is EZ Server.  No disagreement there.   But if you have a set of armor from Dulak, it makes it even easier :)

Alternative to Dulak -
The Dulak loot is Vex Thal loot. If you prefer to mass kill mobs with your main, and loot Dulak gear on alts, you could clear vex thal. Mobs used to have a relatively huge amount of HPs, and compared with Dulak, they still do. But if you have end game toons, all of vex thall is soloable, except for aten ha ra himself. Take a walk down memory lane.

BTW: there is no need to do that shard quest, Non-Custom npc will port you at any level.

You could even get your alt levels 47-70 while getting their dulak gear.

Also, Ssra temple drops very nice (no level restriction at all) accessory gear. The blood golem drops a +100 hp belt, necklace, and bracer, as well as the key to the emperor room having nice stats on it as well.

For a nice earring, might want to do the Sigil Earring of Veracity quest. It involves getting a key to Lord Seru's area in Sanctus Seru, but if you go through with the whole quest line, it's a nice reward.

Akheva also drops nice loot, but I haven't been there. What I do know is that there is at least one boss that deathtouches. :P

Dulak is hard to farm for your ROA toons since there is a level cap on the zone which excludes level 70s.

Additionally there is alot of the same items that drop over and over. ToV,Kael etc have different drops that give some variety for ROAing.

Yes i have done the ROA countless times and this isnt for my own "personal interest". It is just something else to try and improve a great server.

No Shea, the Dulak gear does not have a level requirement.  However, it is BoA so you would need to collect it when you're of level and then use it as you leveled RoA.

After you delevel by starting the RoA quest, aren't you allowed access back into Dulak?

Technically he could get some pieces while in there then. hehehehe

when you get back to 30 yeah.. so technically just regear yourself on the first run.. then the other RoA runs will be better and faster

I would get like, ring lvl 40 (if you even care at that point) then go back to Dulak if you want that gear so badly.
At lvl 51 you cant wear it to lvl up with anymore anyway

Just wondering... Is it possible to have 2 RoAs? As in, it's lore item, so could I just get a lvl100 ring and a lvl99 ring, like get one to some 49, then start lvling up a new one too.

I think the whole point was to make RoA leveling faster.  So with the Dulak gear at the initial levels, it would help out as opposed to having nothing.

you need to get the trophy for tradeskills at the nines of each RoA after 50. (59,69,79,89,99)
so lvl 70 + RoA lvl 59 + baking trophy = lvl 60 RoA + lvl 1 character

no thats just for the lvl 60 ring. need smithing, jewel crafting, etc... for each 9 rank after 50. 59 baking, i know 99 needs jewel crafting. dont remember which trophy is for which rank however

I don't recall the order, but pretty sure the ones you need are:

Baking
Brewing
Jewelcrafting
Smithing
Tailoring

Baking's easy since you already have a +99% modifier on the ring.  Kind of a gimme.  The rest take time, and brewing will require a corking device that can only be made with a decent tinkering skill...so you'll either have to work that up or find someone who will make it for you.  Did I mention that the corking device requires a foraged component?  Branch of Planar Oak, I think.  So you'll need to work up a forager.   ;)  Ah yes, the RoA quest.  The end result is awesome, but it's gonna take some time. 

This is not good.  That means that without an alt or assistance from a forager, that everyone is not able to complete the quest.

Its a sylvan branch..foraged about 10 of them in 20 mins with a lowbie druid...

Combines for all the trade skills was less than 100 except for jewel craft which was 120.

i foraged right outside the entrance to Kael in WL...long as no one trains.

I think i PLed my druid to 70 using monk/mage in about an hour. Lowbie means ungeared.

Was about to say. Lowbie i would imagine doesnt have to do with levels lol. Seeing as how 1 to 70 is about an hour long event under bad circumstances.

LOL!  I guess I need to hone my EQ skills.  Maybe I am just too cautious.  Still have that 'live' mentality when dying is a pain in the ass!

well i guess you could do that with the RoA grinding... just need the 3.0 regen/shaman buff and your 3.0 warrior with aug 5 and your in business lol...

i like monks for 47-70 tbh. war/ bard are overrated

I made every piece needed for RoA past 50 with less then 25skill.
In fact I only got above 21 skill when I skilled up doing combine.
Less then 10 attempts for all but one, cant recall which now but that one took me 20 tries to make.
Supreme is correct on forage location. I ran two druids out there for a couple hours and stockpiled the supplies.

Umm, actually the Dulak gear DOES have recommended levels on each item. So needing to farm gear from previous expansions is still useful.

are you sure dulak gear as level requirement? im pretty sure it doesnt.

looking at cero's magelo now. his top left bag has Jaylia's Valiant gear. no lvl req.

Meant recommended level.  And i'm talking about items that aren't just armor.  Earrings, rings, cloaks, etc.  

Shaman 3.0 + druid 3.0 + mage ds + fire ele illusion works well but if I could max out my gear to go with these buffs, It'd be even better.

I'm mostly concerned with Statue / Emperor Ssra.  Both of which I've never seen up, and have checked 30+ times. =\

Then another zone specifically for Kunark?
Or better yet, a zone with wings (obviously i mean wings like.. hallways) that could support a specific expansions loot? this would be stuff not covered already by existing custom zones though.

So one wing could have old naggy, vox, etc... original EQ loot, another wing have.... well i guess whatever Kunark had going for it? Velious in another wing with Kael, Skyshrine, ToV, Veeshan Peaks, etc.. and so on
