Title: Question that'll be silly to some - Item/spell effect descriptions
Post by: Incarnadine on November 10, 2011, 03:16:21 am
Hello, sorry if this is a silly question but I've only recently come back to EQ (eqemu's to be more exact) and I remember, and see on lots of SS's, items spells and whatnot having a solid description of their effects. (For example, an aug saying it does X damage etc) and I'm having trouble remembering if that was a setting somewhere or what it was. Could anyone please refresh my memory :)

I think it's MQ2

Can anyone confirm it is? I'm having a nightmare of a time with getting MQ2 working (can't find VC.net, Visual Studio 6 or any guides for other methods. I'm unfamiliar with it and attempts to work around it failed so I'm at a loss at the current)

To elaborate the work around I tried, once I was unable to find the above suggested methods I tried using Visual Studio 10, and that failed. An error about unwinding a naked or something along those lines. Upon looking around I was told that it -had- to be the above methods.

If you don't want to, or are unable, to compile your own you can get a precompiled version at http://mqemulator.net/

Thank you for the idea Lerx but problem was fixed. Very special thanks to Skeezy in game, apparently the problem was my settings for P1999 previously.
