Source code was updated today.


Found a few players taking advantage of a plat exploit that were getting several hundred million platinum per day doing this exploit. They have been banned. If you are one of the players that got banned for exploiting, then please don't bother emailing me, cause those emails will be ignored in the order that they are received.

Oh yeah, if your "friend" logged in your account, and he was exploiting plat, then your account was linked to their account, and got banned as well. I don't want to know about your "friend" or "bro" that logged in your account. Its staying banned.

I don't know why people think the limit to their bank account is 5 million platinum. I have queries that can add up your platinum of all characters on the same account, and all accounts on the same IP address. I can even add up the value of all your items too if you think its sneaky enough to hide your money in items instead of cash. The platinum dupe exploit has been verified, as well as the people being banned for using it. I'm sure there might be some more people that were doing it, and I'll eventually catch up to them with the logs I am searching through.

Last time there was a verified plat exploit, I had to wipe all plat above 5 million because the exploiters dumped billions into the economy. Even legit farmers got their money from selling items to the exploiters, so yeah honest players felt the wipe as well, but most players did not have above 5 million platinum and were not affected.

Since I've found and verified the exploit, and banned the exploiters, I am going to reduce the cost of instance waypoints.

Also, I'm going to increase the number of dynamic zones that load. This will increase the server coming up time, but hopefully will help out with all the instances being created, to have less of them disappear during peek times.

They kept it mostly in items too, and low bank account balance.

It sure will be a relief to see the source of the economic issues of this server get fixed. I have been away for a little over a year and on return, I still had my plat from way back when, about 2m total. When I saw what was up with the new augs, I burned through all of that and have been spending all of my playtime farming gems, boss tokens and essences in order to get aug'd up before going on to T5.
If the plat duping woes can be fixed, etc it sure would be nice to see some relief to prices on aug components from the vendor. I think the augs are a long time in coming in light of the extreme hp of high end bosses. And I don't mind farming plat to pay players for their farming endeavors, especially when I can come by it through gems that I get along the way to boss tokens for essences, etc. But having the most costly components come from a vendor means more plat farming for the honest majority, and no penalty to the plat dupers.

there has to be something to take plat out of the system though with the drop rate on gems.

having it be augs seems logical to me with the DPS bump they give.

Higher levels can farm plat faster, such as bags of plat dropped, more gems dropped, etc so don't complain if you can't afford an Aug Strike V-VII if your only in T1/T2. Its meant for the players in T5 and of course they are allowed to twink alts.

I hope this can stabilize the economy now.  For casual players like myself plat is not super easy to come by and augs are kinda out of the question for me right now.  I have been working on traing my son to use my ranger to farm GLS's though,  lol is that so terrible?

Anyways I have been playing for a long time on here.  back before the days of Kilirak(sp?) and I am just now getting the 3.5's for my toons.  My means of making money right now are mainly thru the gem drops in HoH.  Im really hoping this resolution with the exploiters will fix the economy for the "Little guys" on the server a bit.

Totally on a side note if any of you "Big guys" on the server needs 4.0's for 2 of your alts and fdont want to farm the tokens I have 6 MCP tokens.  Ill pop him 6 times and give you 2 of the books for your help.  lol  Sorry dont know what the going rate is for 4.0 kills.

Your characters were being logged in and used to exploit? That or your toons were linked by ip to whomever was exploiting. Just a guess here.

Who did you allow to log on your account? Or did you log on some one elses account? You were probably flagged as an alt box via IP address. Your account had logged on with the same IP as one of the exploiters. Bad bad bad...

The guild tag is a tell tell on that one....

What it means is nearly the whole guild got banned for exploiting. What it also means is that this is the second time around that this shit has happen with Tibador. Right now is not a good time to have a trany tag.
