I was able to make 5 nerds with rot from PoD...

Now i'm trying to equip my epic 2.5 with them to go fight Twinkle toes

First off... using UF client

I had mossy on slot 8, so I added nerds to slot 4, and then I removed mossy... but it did not allow me to add second nerds

Then I removed both augs, and tried to add nerds directly to slot 8 and it ate my aug, luckily I had one extra

So, figured I'd try Titanium client... tried to put nerds directly to slot 8 and nothing... went into slot 4 fine, so I put mossy back on 8 for now...

maybe I'll try again with 3.0, unless anyone has any suggestions

I have not tried with Mossy Tundra stone...  But you're in FG, so here's what I suggest.

Get a Nerd 1 from the FG vendor, and an all/all aug (grey gemstone of knowledge?) from the aug sealer vendor.

For your 2.5, add the nerd 1 to the empty epic, then add the Nerd 5.  Once they are both in, remove the nerd 1, then add the second nerd 5.

When you get 3.0 and have a 3rd slot to fill, start with an empty epic again.  Add the nerd 1, then the all/all aug, then the first nerd 5.  Then remove the all/all and add the second nerd 5 (or 4 depending on what you're doing).  Then remove the nerd 1, and add the 3rd nerd 5.

This should work every time

You need to work backwards.

Put a grey gemstone of knowledge in the slot 4, then the nerd aug in second, which will go into the slot 8.

Once you get a 4.0 with 3 slots, you'll need another intermediate and nerd the 3rd socket first, then 2nd, then finally the first socket last. I use the lifetap one from PoFear.
