Looking at essence farming, and seeing the fact that OMM has a guaranteed essence drop got me to thinking... I was wondering if you'd consider spawning a new named mob in T5 that spawns when everything is dead, just for a guaranteed essence drop :) It wouldn't be a "free" essence, but it would give more incentive for up and comers to work together to have the force to clear the zone before repop, and it would give the guilds who are back flagging a little bonus for clearing the whole zone too. Since double loot began I've had a bad luck streak with abyss essences. White, which I thought had a high drop rate in the 75%+ range, has been less than 20% over 15 kills. On average I'm seeing less than one essence per clear -- whether the drop rate was changed or I'm unlucky lately, at least one essence per clear would be a very nice guarantee. Title: Re: @ Hunter... He may have changed it though.

Still, I think Brokyn's suggestion is solid and would be a fun addition to the zone. Something I've always wished was implemented, and I know others have as well, is an actual 5.0 boss. T5 White drop rate 15% All other bosses 3% T6 OMM 100% All other bosses 5% This was posted awhile ago somewhere. I also really like this idea of slay everything for a guaranteed essence boss!
