You can say Sony cut corners, but why spend money and time on something that you know your game will not need? That's just wasting resources that could be spent elsewhere. The Drakkin models change based off of the toon's deity, so that might have been more complicated to add in. Maybe a future update could add something like Gold Drakkin, Silver Drakkin, etc, where changing into a Drakkin also changes your deity. Server stability isn't a risk worth the outcome of the reward of a Race change really..no picking or trying to gimp ya in anyway..
