Hey, I'm experiencing some weird issues with multi-boxing. Whenever I zone, it's like the game no longer recognizes which character is in which instance of everquest, so it will try to load the zoning character into the wrong instance, crashign the first client and causing me to instantly switch characters on the other client. Anyone know why this is happening, and more importantly, how to stop it?

Some information: one computer, Quad core processor, all isntances of eq on same directory, behind a hub behind a router, all characters on same account, I like spaghetti.

you cant run more than 1 character per account, if you zone you'll crash them all

you need to have 1 character per EQEmu login account.

for example-

Warrior = Login account "iheartwarriorpowah" (account 1)
Cleric = Login account "iheartclerichealz" (account 2)

if you log in 2 characters from account 1 you'll crash, same goes for logging in 2 characters from account 2.
if you log in 1 character from each though, you'll be fine

look like someone will ask to transfer a char from an account to an other :)

yeah... you know in the very first days of EQ you could multibox with same account.  Whne EQ found out... guess what... $$$ buy a new account mofo!

Anyways... like they said.. 1 character per account at a time... so make 3 account on eqemu :)

So are you telling me that those people who box 6-12 toon have 6-12 accounts?  That is just nuts! LOL!

On live is a subscription per toon.. kinda insane... on live i had 2 only...

Well Dany said in another thread you can have 3 LS accts per EqEmu acct.  So i assume each LS acct can have up to (how many u can make? 6? 8? i forget) per LS acct?

You can have 3 accounts per EQEmu forum account. Each account can hold 8 characters (10 if you use SoF/SoD). As long as you use different emails you can have as many EQEmu forum accounts as you want.

You can not box toons that are on the same account. Actually i take that back you CAN...to some degree. But if you zone both of the toons at the same time which ever one was zoned first will be booted off, then the second toon that was zoned will execute a "toon transfer" where you will end up at the end of the zone as the first character that zoned and you'll be in whatever zone that toon was in as opposed to whatever toon you were really using.

For example if i were to box two of my characters, Caturday and Milein (both on the same account) and zoned both of them at the same time, Milein to CG and Caturday to Nexus, If Milein zoned in first her client would crash followed by Caturday's client zoning into CG as Milein instead of into Nexus as Caturday...if that makes sense.

In other words it's messy to box toons on the same account i wouldn't try it.

So is that messy boxing on the same LS acct or same EQEmu acct?

yeah i think i have 4 LS Accounts, which mean 12 game accounts. 1 for each of my chars, and future projects thus far

Dont you mean you have 4 Emu accounts which is 12 LS accounts?
