Title: Spell Effects DB error Post by: Whinky on September 29, 2012, 11:18:51 pm Okay well Im at a loss. I recently upgraded to Underfoot after playing here on Titanium a year ago for the duration of a few months without problems. When you inspect an item, the spell and or focus effects are always DB error/unknown. I reinstalled 3x, tried just copying over fresh titanium files, redownloaded the EZ server files 1000x. Nothing seems to work. I don't know if its because I am using the steam version of underfoot? Maybe the default is patched beyond the standard fresh install of underfoot?

Title: Re: Spell Effects DB error Post by: Cuzin on October 06, 2012, 09:40:03 am Did you have any luck with that? im having the same problem-- i started with Titanium, installed UF right over top and i started getting the same error, i did everything the OP described to try and fix it- the funny thing is i did the exact same thing on another computer, with the same titanium client, same UF client in fact the exact files from the same location over the network- the same OS (win7) and the second computer doesnt have the problem at all--
Title: Re: Spell Effects DB error Post by: lerxst2112 on October 06, 2012, 05:59:25 pm If the spell effects are wrong/missing then you're either not using the proper spell file which you can download on the left, or you didn't replace the known bad dbstr_us.txt file with a good one, there's a link a couple posts up. |
