Amontehepna spawns Cara Omica once he dies ... for Key 5!

Place this at the bottom of frozenshadow_2.txt   (Make sure to set it as Read Only after you edit the file!)

Now that you have the locations (if those are it) then it'll be easy since its 10 minute respawn.

If you didn't change the spawn locations... I just ripped them all from a normal database lol


I got him to spawn twice yesterday... and at least 2 of the locations are correct lol

Well after weeks of killing the 4th floor I FINALLY got one key done.  The Amon I got to spawn was off a wandering mob.  Five more keys to go.  I have the ph'ers marked on my map, so I appreciate that, but I clear the whole zone (to include the pit) and still having huge issues getting Amon to spawn.  What is the % chance that Amon can spawn off a ph'er here, 5%ish or so?

I think it was 5 or 10%  ... unless Hunter modified the normal percentages.

I'd look back at it again but I'm super tired right now, I just know it was low.

just spent this past weekend in tofs and started where i left off the first week tofs was released, on floor 3. i managed to get like 5 keys in some 2 hours so i think i was pretty lucky in that regard, then it was time to do floor 4 after reading all the nightmares people had with him. well my luck at first wasn't any better, took me 7 hours of chain killing. i was able to keep the entire floor on lockdown 24/7, and i did for 7 straight hours before i finally got my first amon pop. soon as i killed him and headed to cara, i noticed a second amon in the hallway beside cara's room, though that was some pretty insane luck.


But after that things started to get a little wierd....after another 8 hours of clearing for my third key the same exact thing happened. amon spawned and on the way to cara i ran into another amon as i was running around the corner, i thought that was pretty wierd.. So after finishing my 4th key i took a break to grind floor 3 for a little bit for some v1s since the drop rate on floor 4 seemed pretty terrible. so i reloaded all my characters into the zone and once i got to floor 3 i did a /tar amon for giggles, sure enough he was up. THIS HAPPENED THREE MORE TIMES of me killing amon, gating all chars out and running them all back to floor 3 only to see another amon up. So ya, 8 amon spawns in 1 night. All bullshit luck probably, either way just thought id share my experience.

also! He spawned every time near where paldail's markers were but since amon roams it should be just used as a general idea of the area in which he can spawn. One of the times he had the most retarded roaming path, spending 90% of the time roaming under the world until he reached his destination on the other side of the map.


main thing for others to remember is that Amon doesnt spawn like the first 3 floor bosses do (doesn't spawn instantly after killing ph), something i wish i realized when i first jumped into here. Also due to me just killing the entire floor in groups, im not sure if the ph's are random (like T5). The markings Paldail supplied might just be the places in which he can spawn. Either way i still have nfc how this guy works lol.

Thanks Digz for giving me hope...I have all my UCv2's done so dont need those just wanting to see what the next tiers are like....canyt remember tofs from my old days in live....and hope that the remaining levels arent like floor 4...I hate navigating a group through halls like that=)...like floors like floor 2 where it is all open or floor 3 where the halls are wider.

i haven't even bothered to mess around much on the next floor yet. the one time i went there after i got my amon keys, i pulled all the golems at the zone in and that was pretty much the end of that adventure!

It did look more open but at this point *ANYTHING* would be an improvement over floor 4.

I will say it seems only the roaming mobs can spawn Amon...none of the stationary mobs spawn him (yet)

As a note of irony.  I went afk, after wiping the zone, to take a shower.  When I came back I, and all my toons, were in nexus.  Scrolled up and found that I had been slain by none other than Amotehepna......hehehehe oh well will get him next time.

holy crap that sucks! i kept all my toons right at the zone in so that i could do pulls and i would always drop down to the pit and take the teleporter, ports you right to your group and doesnt wipe aggro on anything you pulled. That plus if you keep all your toons against the far wall you shouldn't ever aggro any roamers :)
