Title: Stonewall discipline help Post by: anrath on August 30, 2013, 10:25:10 pm Sorry for sounding like such a newb but can someone explain how stonewall discipline is suppose to work.
I have tried using it on my warrior and I repeatedly recieve a message saying spell shield absorbed 56 0f 700 damage as my hitpoints rapidly decrease and i still take dmg from mob. Title: Re: Stonewall discipline help Post by: Chunka on August 31, 2013, 01:03:40 am Stonewall is a mitigation increase. While its up you will take 45% less damage from hits by the mob. The effect you're describing I think it coming from an item on your warrior, perhaps a weapon proc. But could also be a weird effect from using the wrong client (doubtful, but possible).
Title: Re: Stonewall discipline help Post by: Kaid on August 31, 2013, 07:51:53 am The spell shield absorb message is from items with spell shielding on them. Stonewall discipline has a DoT on it. It was removed from at least the 7.0 click, but must still there on whichever SW version you're using.
The only way to get rid of the message is to set up a MQ2 filter for it. |
