Spell file 10-06-13 now available.

Will take effect server side after reboot.

Updated Druid Epic clicks "Vine Grasp" to have 150 range. Had 0 range before. Also it seems to be targettype = TargetAoE which means you can cast on npc 150 distance away, then the AoE from that npc is 35 distance. Its not updated in spell file that I just posted, but should work anyways server side.

Updated most custom tier treasure chest, such as the ones in Anguish, to allow /open command. Yes the npcs self buff stonewall when they spawn, so just use /open.

Updated Epic 2.5 Quest to be 2x faster to acquire a book.

South Ro fixed npc pathing.

T9 Old Commons
Increased drop rates on rare components.
Increase sell value of common trash loot by x 10.
Lowered trigger requirements on final boss which nobody triggered yet.

So now i can go back to killing my druid every-time i click the epic?
Really wish there was something i could put on my warrior to give aoe hate proc.
yes i click the 7.0 for the 55% extra hate (only woks on stuff .. you hit) use a 6.0 with nerds 4,5,5, and click the Uw aoe when it refreshes.

But glad i have the option to click-boom-gate now.

I am waiting to see how these anti threat Augs are gonna work out... Plan on loading them up on my drood first. Should be in game soon and hopefully take care of this issue. I also suggested they add a 0 to the threat reduction component of the epic.

There is Anger Bomb and Scepter of Time that are both aoe threat.   You can also use a chanter and put irrational irritation on war and masked strength on dps    Another option is to get the ninja item for your casters.  

EDIT:   Nevermind,  that epic click pulls aggro that is sicksauce.    Not gonna use it any longer lol.    Is cool though, plenty of other dps classes.    Everyone has a role.

I'll see what can be done about the druid click. I'll like halve the DD, increase the DoT, and possibly a gigantic threat reduction.

The threat reduction could be looked at too.. It is so small compared to the series etc.

When I said series I meant berserker... Ipad auto correct. Snare is huge Afro but they do have threat reduction on the epic... It is just 10 x lower than that of Zerker. Even though nobody cares much for the snare, the thing is called epic vine grasp so makes sense that it has it.  Could change the snare to a slow... Heh

no slow has a substantial amount of agro as well. removing the snare would fix the problem.

Let's assume it's spell level 254 (which is generally not what is used for class epics, usually 81 or something).

(2 + ((254 * 254) / 8))
(2 + ( 64516 / 8 ))
(2 + 8065)
Assuming L254, it does 8067 threat.

I'm hardly believing that 8k threat is responsible. The DD alone is MUCH MUCH MUCH higher.

The threat generation formula is above. It is based off of the spell level. The fact that these spells are hitting for HUNDREDS of thousands of damage....that's probably it.....

.....Dont know about that, HB. I can click static burst 2 on my sorc 26 wiz AFTER clicking 4.5 epic on my non UC oracle 50 druid....and the wiz wont steal agro. Druid click is 40K base AE damage, static burst 2 on wiz is 50K base damage, plus charm bump. Druid epic also adds a little bit of a DoT, but also has 3K hate decrease. Its the snare.

Slow and snare have a hate modifier built in, and have since forever (unless EZ handles this differently than live). Also.....resisted snares and slows get a greater amount of agro than slows and snares that land.....again, unless its handled differently here (been that way on live since Luclin, as I recall).

But one thing I did notice: zerk epic is negative 80K hate, and druid epic is neg 3K hate. I think with the snare the hate decrease on druid epic needs some tinkering.

Regardless.....masked strength on druid and irrational irritation on warrior makes it a non issue most times.

Unless there is another section that handles the hate generation, the code above is the specific block involving the threat generation. I'm going to spam a few ranks of it tonight and cycle through the hatelists to see what has changed (and divide up the threat gen).

Will post more as I learn more. Based on the source though (as far as I can find after 60min of reviewing it), the snare formula is above.
